While 90% colleges follow a centralized counselling system like JoSAA or CSAB, BITS follows its own counselling system which is referred to as the BITSAT iteration based admission process. The term iteration technically means ‘multiple’, and BITS Pilani follows this. The university conducts multiple rounds of seat allotment and gradually allocates the seats to eligible candidates.

This process is dynamic and merit-driven, and ensures that students get the best possible campus and programs based on their exam scores and preference list. What After Each Iteration?

Once the BITSAT iteration result for the first round is out, the following actions can be taken.
