The Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) has defined certain guidelines which specify the eligibility criteria for students willing to take NMAT by GMAC examination. NMAT 2020 registration procedure started on 14th September 2020 and the exam was scheduled to be conducted from 4th November 2020 to 30th January 2020.
Candidates willing to NMAT 2020 examination must fulfill the requirement of minimum educational qualification defined by concerned authorities.

NMAT Eligibility
The eligibility criteria of NMAT Examination as specified by GMAC usually depend on admission/application eligibility criteria of the particular MBA college it offers admission to. Candidates are advised to look for the eligibility requirement for the selected MBA/PGDM program at the chosen institute.
Following are the key points one must consider while filling the application form:

Applying candidates must possess a bachelor's degree.

They must have secured the required minimum marks in graduation as per the requirement of MBA college.

Final year students are also eligible to apply for NMAT by GMAC 2019.

Candidates who possess a professional degree such as CA, CS, or ICWA are also eligible to apply for admission.

There is no age bar on being eligible to apply for NMAT Examination.

Marks obtained by candidates or scores secured by them is calculated based on the guidelines of respective university of institute.

Important Guidelines of NMAT by GMAC Eligibility:

Application Fee is not Refunded
Candidates are not given back the amount of application fee they have paid during registration. If the minimum educational qualification is not matched, the candidates are not liable to have their amount refunded.

Preferred Business School Admission Criteria must be Checked
NMAT Eligibility Criteria defined by NMAT strictly instructs the applying candidates to check their eligibility criteria of the particular MBA college first. For any MBA institute accepting NMAT exam score with 50% marks in graduation, the candidates must ensure that they fulfill the criteria to become eligible for admission.
NMAT Eligibility for NMIMS
Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, shortened for NMIMS Mumbai, requires candidates to possess a bachelor's degree in the relevant field with at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university. The admission criteria for NMIMS and NMAT are the same.
NMIMS Accepts only NMAT Exam Score
