Haldia Institute of Technology (HIT) is an Institute of ICARE, Haldia and is the 1^st private educational institute of West Bengal which is approved of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal (WBUT). The institute was established in the year 1996 to cater to the needs of technical education in the state. The institute foundation was made in Haldia, which is an industrial hub of developing industries in the Eastern part of India. The college has also been accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with grade 'A' and CGPA 3.31/4. 

Haldia Institute of Technology has been ranked under 201-250 rank bank of NIRF Ranking 2021 in the category of engineering colleges. 

The inception of the Haldia Institute of Technology (HIT) was done with the vision of “achieve Centre of Excellence in the field of Science, Technology and Management Education for creating dynamic human resources of global standards with capabilities of accepting new challenges.”

• Fill the JEE Main online application form and submit it.
