UPES Course Admissions - Selection Process
1 Eligibility based on UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT)
Candidates should secure minimum 50% marks in class 10th and 12th and minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCM at 10+2 level.
2 Eligibility based on JEE Main Merit
Candidates should secure minimum 50% marks in class 10th and 12th and minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCM at 10+2 level.
3 Eligibility based on Board Merit
Candidates should secure minimum 80% marks in class 10th and 12th and minimum 80% aggregate marks in PCM at 10+2 level.
UPES Course Admissions - Key Points to remember
- Candidates born only after October 1, 1998 are eligible to apply for UPES admission in several courses.
- The seat division percentage is 80% seats are filled through UPESEAT followed by centralized counselling and 20% seats shall be filled through board / JEE Main merit category.
- In case of vacant seats in the non-examination process, the university also fills the seats through UPESEAT.
- UPES also has the right to conduct further physical (paper-pencil test) / online test for admission in case of vacant seats.
- Candidates are required to submit their 10+2 and JEE Main score to participate in the selection process in case of Non-examination process.
- Candidates from Uttarakhand State Board should have 80% marks in 10+2 and PCM. They should also be ranked within 150 in UK board to be eligible.

UPES an amazing university
Placement: Excellent placement opportunities in the college. So many top companies came for placement. Student needs to ensure that they don’t have any backlog. Otherwise, it would affect the CGPA score and most of the companies doesn’t want a student with less CGPA score.

Placement: Placements are excellent around 80-88% students of dis college got placed in big companies like IBM, Infosys etc.. with Minimum Package of 4 lacs Per annum to 12 Lacs Per annum and in many cases it can go more up.
