The All India Management Association (AIMA), being the conducting authority of MAT Exam has released all the important dates concerning the examination. The exam is conducted four times in one academic session namely February, May, September, and December. The dates are primarily released right before 2 months of each academic session.

The notification released by AIMA generally specifies Dates concerning Registration, Examination, Admit Card release, Schedule, Reschedule, and Result. Candidates willing to participate are advised to keep visiting its official website i.e. mat.aima.in for any kind of information.

MAT 2023 Exam Dates: Important Points

  • Candidates must register themselves before the due date of registration process and this can be done by visiting the official website of MAT. There is a certain procedure that candidates must follow in order to register themselves.
  • The MAT 2023 examination, offered in both PBT and CBT modes, will take place in approximately 35 specific test cities across India. 
  • It's worth noting that the test cities for PBT and CBT are distinct, with MAT PBT being available in fewer cities.
  • When completing the MAT 2023 application form, candidates have the option to select up to two cities for their test center allocation.
  • Test centers will be assigned at the discretion of the examination authority. For MAT IBTs, there are two time slots available: 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM. 
  • Candidates can specify their preferred test date and slot within the MAT 2023 application form.
  • Payment of the fee is a mandatory step in the MAT form-filling process, and failing to do so will result in the inability to submit the form. 
  • The fee must be paid before the registration deadline for each session of MAT.
  • Candidates have the flexibility to take the MAT in multiple exam modes; however, they will be required to pay an exam fee for each mode.
  •  Those who wish to retake the MAT can do so in any exam phase by submitting a new MAT application form.

MAT Exam is conducted 4 times in a year i.e. once in each academic session and the registration procedure is seen to be started right before 2 months of each session.

  • The exam is conducted in two modes i.e. Internet Based Test and Paper Based Test. Candidates can choose either of the two as per their convenience.
  • Candidates can also apply for both the test modes and take the exam in two different modes.

The exam is conducted for admission to management and allied programs in various reputed institutes across the country. MAT Exam has also been approved as the national level entrance examination in the year 2003 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development.

MAT Admit Card

The application procedure is generally followed by release of admit cards. Candidates who have successfully registered for MAT Exam 2023 are required to visit the official website of MAT and download their admit cards on or after the dates specified by AIMA.

Steps to download MAT Admit Card are given below:

  • Visit the official website of AIMA i.e. mat.aima.in.
  • Enter the required details such as registration no. and roll no.
  • Click on “Submit”
  • Download the admit card
