Admission Details
Admission Procedure
The admission in depending upon the availability of the seats, the prospects fulfilling the eligibility criteria will be offered admission in the course on the first come first serve basis till the last date of admission decided by the admission committee of the candidates fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria for admission in the course.
Minimum Eligibility
Candidates must have passed Bachelor's degree or equivalent in appropriate field of Engineering/Technology or Master's degree in the appropriate field of Science/Computer Application from any recognized University with minimum marks of 55% or CGPA of 6.0 for Gen/OBC and 50% or CGPA of 5.5 for SC/ST category in the appropriate field of Engineering. Candidates who have qualified in GATE will be preferred. Candidates who are appearing in the final semester/year of graduation may also apply. In addition to the above mentioned basic M. Tech (Regular) eligibility, candidates must have at least 2 years Teaching/Industrial/Research/Professional Work Experience for M. Tech (Part Time).
Candidates must have passed B. Tech. in Biotechnology/Bioinformatics/ Medical Biotechnology/Chemical Engg., M.Sc. Biotech/Life Sc./B. Pharm./ Physical Sc./Chemical Science or equivalent from any recognized University with minimum marks of 55% or CGPA of 6.0 for Gen/OBC and 50% or CGPA of 5.5 for SC/ST category. Candidates who are appearing in the final semester/year of graduation may also apply.
