Galgotias University is a private university situated in Greater Noida. The university offers various programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. The university also offers a PhD program at the Doctorate level. These programs are offered in the field of Arts, Science, Commerce, Medical, Pharmacy, etc. The admission procedure of each of the programs offered by the university varies from one another.
The candidates seeking admission must ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria defined by the university. Besides, the university conducts Galgotias Engineering Entrance Examination (GEEE) to provide admission to B. Tech program.
Minimum Educational Qualification
For undergraduate programs
- Candidates seeking admission to B. Tech, Integrated B. Tech + MBA, and Integrated B. Tech + M. Tech must have passed 10+2 with PCM securing at least 45% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates seeking admission to B. Tech (lateral entry) program must hold a diploma in the relevant field or B. Sc securing at least 45% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to B. Arch, the candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates holding a diploma with 50% marks in aggregate are also eligible to apply for admission to B. Arch.
- For admission to BCA and Integrated BCA + MCA, the candidates must have passed senior secondary school with Mathematics or Computer Applications securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to BBA, Integrated BBA + MBA, and B. Com (Hons.), the candidates must have passed senior secondary school securing at least 50% marks in best four subjects.
- Candidates seeking admission to B. Sc, BA (Hons.), Bachelor of Optometry, BPT, B. Pharm must have passed senior secondary school in the relevant field securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
The university also offers various law programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Admission to these programs varies from one to another. The eligibility criteria are defined below:
- Candidates seeking admission to LLB (Hons.) must possess a bachelor’s degree in any field securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to LLM, the candidates must hold an LLB degree or they must have completed a 5-year integrated law programs securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to the Integrated BA + LLB (Hons.) and Integrated BBA + LLB (Hons.) programs, the candidates must have passed senior secondary school securing at least 60% marks in aggregate.
For postgraduate programs
- For admission to M. Tech, the candidates must hold a BE/B. Tech degree in the relevant field securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates seeking admission to MCA must hold a BCA degree or have graduated with Mathematics securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to M. Com, the candidates must hold a B. Com/B. Com (Hons.) degree securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates seeking admission to MA must have graduated in the relevant field securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to B. Lib., the candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to M. Lib., the candidates must possess a B. Lib. Degree with 50% marks in aggregate.
- Admission to MPT requires bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy with 50% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to M. Pharm, the candidates must possess a B. Pharm degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates seeking admission to M. Sc. must possess a B. Sc. degree in the relevant field securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- For admission to B. Ed., the candidates must hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
- Admission to M. Ed. requires a B. Ed./BA B. Ed./B. Sc B. Ed./B. Com B. Ed./B. El. Ed./D. El. Ed./ along with an undergraduate degree securing at least 50% marks in each.
- Candidates seeking admission to MBA in various specializations must possess a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
For PhD program
The university offers several programs under various specializations. This creates a pool of options for the students to choose from.
- For admission to PhD, the candidates must possess a master’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Science/Business Administration securing at least 60% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates who have completed M. Sc in Engineering or MS by research are also eligible to apply for PhD.
- Candidates with master’s degree in Humanities/Social Sciences/Language or other non-engineering courses securing at least 60% marks in aggregate can also apply for PhD program.
Admission to the undergraduate programs at Galgotias University
The admission procedure of Galgotias University varies from one program to the other. Admission to each of the programs is followed by qualifying the respective entrance examinations.
- Candidates seeking admission to B. Tech, B. Tech (lateral entry), Integrated B. Tech + MBA, and Integrated B. Tech + M. Tech are shortlisted based on their performance in GEEE examination.
- Candidates can also be shortlisted based on the merit in the national level entrance examinations such asJEE or UPSEE.
- Admission to B. Arch is done based on the merit in qualifying examination along with candidates’ performance in NATA.
For admission to the other undergraduate programs such as BCA, Integrated BCA + MCA, Integrated BBA + MBA, BBA, B. Com (Hons.), B. Sc., BA (Hons.), Bachelor of Optometry, BPT, and B. Pharm, the candidates are shortlisted based on the merit in the last qualifying examination.
Admission to LLB (Hons.), LLM, Integrated BA + LLB (Hons.), and Integrated BBA + LLB (Hons.) at Galgotias University
The university also offers various law programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Admission to these programs varies from one to another.
- For admission to LLB (Hons.), Integrated BA + LLB (Hons.), and Integrated BBA + LLB (Hons.), the candidates are shortlisted based on the merit in the last qualifying examination.
- Candidates seeking admission to LLM are shortlisted based on the merit in qualifying examination along with Law School Admission Test (LSAT).
- Candidates holding a valid score in CLAT, AILET, or DU Law Faculty Entrance are also eligible to apply for LLM.
Admission to the postgraduate programs at Galgotias University
Galgotias University Courses offer various postgraduate programs under several specializations. Admission to these programs is done based on candidates’ performance in respective entrance examinations.
- Candidates seeking admission to M. Tech, MCA, M. Com, MA, B. Lib, M. Lib, MPT, M. Pharm, M. Sc, B. Ed, and M. Ed. are shortlisted based on the merit in the last qualifying examination.
- For admission to MBA with dual specialization and MBA in Financial Management, the candidates are shortlisted based on the merit in qualifying examination along with CAT/XAT/MAT.
- For admission to MBA in Healthcare & Hospital Management, the candidates are shortlisted based on the merit in qualifying examination along with ICRI Test and Interview.
- Candidates seeking admission to MBA in Logistics & Supply Chain Management and MBA in Aviation Management are shortlisted based on the merit in qualifying examination along with ILAM Test and interview.
Admission to the PhD program at Galgotias University
Candidates seeking admission to the PhD program are required to appear and qualify the PhD entrance examination followed by a personal interview round conducted by the university.

We have been successful in designing and developing a car for automantra which was like a dream come true. Galgotias University is a lot better than other private universities. If you have it in your bucket then go for it and you’ll not regret. There are lot of opportunities for the ones who really want to pursue their interest along with a decent academic record. All in all its a good institution to be in.

I technically feed a lot of research before entering the college life. This is one of the best colleges I’ve came up with in terms of studies, discipline, fees and environment. I’ve never seen anyone bullied here nor any kind of fights in or outside the campus as many of the private universities are facing.

Pros: Placement is good for CSE department.Nice infrastructure.Hostel, Cafeteria. Cons: some teachers are good.Far from main city.Network problem sometimes.

BEST COLLEGE IN TERMS OF FACULTY 3/5
Faculty of the college is pretty good while the infrastructure is not up to mark as because of the management of the system . there are many crisis for debarred, as when somebody gets than one had to give a lump sum amount of money to the college the infrastructure of the mass communication classes is very bad in comparison to other B-TECH classes .

It is just a 7 years old Institution in Greater Noida and is a private university. two years back that means in the year 2016 I have cleared my engineering in electricals in this university. this university provides each and everything that is required for the technical education means proper classes, labs and libraries etc.. The annual fees of the college is Rs 1.60 Lac PA
