Banasthali Vidyapith was established in the year 1935 by Hiralal Shastri and Ratan Shastri in Jaipur, Rajasthan. It was established to impart quality and advanced education to women. Its admissions process is open to all women, regardless of caste, color, religion, race, or residence. 

The institute has earned the highest possible ’A++’ grade from NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) and is recognized by the UGC (University Grants Commission). Banasthali Vidyapith, Jaipur was ranked 66th in the overall category and 67th in the engineering category in the NIRF 2021 ranking. The varsity was ranked 35 in the NIRF ranking 2021 for the university category, whereas it was ranked 55 in the NIRF ranking 2020 for the university category. The Deemed-to-be-University in Jaipur offers a wide range of courses of Undergraduate, Post-Graduate, and Doctoral level programs under various departments and domains.   • The ICE: or Innovative Chemical Engineers Club, was founded by the Department of Chemical Engineering to encourage students to participate in new activities and explore the vast field of Chemical Engineering. The club hosts a technical festival and invites guests and professors to give guest lectures on campus.
  • Corona: The technical club of Jaipur’s Banasthali Vidyapith. Students in this club are in charge of various activities related to innovation and technology. With the assistance of sponsors, the students conduct various research projects. This club is overseen by the Department of Engineering and Sciences.
  • Samarthaya: Samarthaya is the electronics club of the Banasthali Vidyapith in Jaipur, run by the Department of Engineering. The club’s goal is to pique students’ interest in electronics and electrical instruments. This club’s members also run various electronics-related programs.
  • Aayam: Aayam is the literary and creative club. It is also in charge of curating the university’s annual magazine. The Banasthali Vidyapith, Jaipur University’s central library, offers internet access to students. Students can look through the library’s multiple editions, journals, books, etc.
The university has 2 important IT centers: Apaji Institute of Mathematics and Applied Computer Technology and Artech Dalmia IT Centers, both equipped with cutting-edge technology for students to use.
The University has its own hospital, Apaji Arogya Mandir, with 60 beds. The hospital also has medical and paramedical staff that works around the clock to meet the needs of students.
The university has 29 hostels, which can each house up to 400+ students, equipped with all the basic amenities. It also has a working women’s hostel for students who are working.
