Banasthali Vidyapith is the world’s largest women residential institute. The institute engages in the concept of ’Panchamukhi Shiksha,’ which refers to the harmonious development of one’s personality while maintaining spiritual values and scientific achievements. Smt. Ratan Shastri and Pandit Hiralal Shastri founded the institute on October 6, 1935, in response to the unexpected death of their daughter Shantabai.
