Factors Affecting MHT CET Cut-off 2025
Difficulty level of the Exam: A tougher paper would lead to lower cutoffs, while an easy paper would push cutoffs upwards.
Number of Test-Takers: Greater competition among more test-takers can raise the cutoff, but fewer test-takers can lower it.
Total Number of Seats Available: There are few seats in good colleges and branches that typically lead to higher cutoffs.
Reservation Policies: Category-wise reservations (SC, ST, OBC, EWS, etc.) determine cutoffs for various groups.
Previous Year Cut-off Trends: The past cut-offs are standard against which the current year's trends can be predicted.
College and Branch Choices: Most popular colleges and popular branches like Computer Science have very high cutoffs.
Performance of Top Candidates: If the best performers perform better than average, the overall cutoff rises.
Home University vs. Other University Quota: Home university location applicants may have different cutoff ranges from the others.
