The Maharashtra CET Cell will conduct the MHT CET 2025 Counselling in June. The MHT CET Counselling timetable will be released after the results are published. To take part in the MHT CET counselling process, candidates need to register through the counselling portal, upload the requisite documents in scanned format, and remit the counselling fee. After the registration for counselling is complete, the CET Cell will release the merit list along with the ranks for the candidates.
A candidate's rank on the 2025 MHT CET merit list will dictate the seat partition. The candidate must pay the seat acceptance fee online and report physically at the prescribed college to claim the admission. MHT CET Counselling Process - Step by Step Guide
Online Registration: An official CET Cell website has to be visited by the candidates where they are to register and fill in the profiles such as personal information, academics, and category details.
Document Upload: For verification purposes, documents need to be scanned and uploaded.
Document Verification: Verification can be done either online or at centers allocated (for some candidates) chosen. Only candidates who have been verified will be listed in the eligible lists of merit.
Provisional Merit List Release: There is a merit list that is provisionally published. If any mistakes are made candidates can dispute them.
Final Merit List Publication: The final list of merit is published after all the disputes have been dealt with.
Choice Filling & Option Form Submission (CAP Rounds): In every round, all candidates must state in writing their preferred courses and colleges they would want.
Seat Allotment: The seats are allocated based on the present preferences, merit, category, and what is available. Seats are then distributed.
Seat Acceptance & Fee Payment: The chances of candidates accepting the seat meant for them are high after the offer has been made. Payment of the admission fee has to be made online to confirm the seat.
Reporting to the Allotted Institute: After all the documents have been verified, the college or institution needs to be contacted for final admission confirmation, which is done by reporting to the allotted college.

MHT CET Seat Allotment 2025
The seat allotment process of MHT CET will take place in July 2025. The MHT CET seat allotment according to rank for MHT CET 2025 will be done in rounds by the State CET Cell, Maharashtra, through the Centralised Admission Process (CAP). Post-issuing the final merit list, candidates partake in choice filling by opting for their preferred colleges and courses. The allotment, which is done in every round of CAP, is determined based on the candidate’s rank, category, preferences, and available seats.
After each CAP round, the seat allotment result is available online and candidates have to log in to their respective portals to check their allotted institute and course. If the candidate is satisifed with their obtained seat, they are needed to confirm it by accepting the allotment with an admission fee and reporting to the institute with necessary documents. Participants who do not get allotted a seat in a round are still eligible for the following CAP rounds.
