From the fourth week of August through the second week of October 2023, general category counselling will begin. Beginning in the third week of August 2023, counselling will be available for special reservation categories.

TNEA Counselling Procedure
The TNEA counselling 2023 will begin by the authorities online at the official website. The TNEA 2023 counselling process must be completed by candidates in accordance with the timetable made public by the authorities. The shortlisted candidates will be grouped by rank by the authorities. To learn the specifics of TNEA counselling 2023, candidates can refer to the procedures below.
- The authorities published a list of all the qualified candidates on the official website as the first step in the selection process. Only the listed candidates are qualified to participate in the TNEA 2022 counselling procedure.
- Fee payment - The next step is for all qualified candidates to pay the TNEA counselling fee online. Only applicants who pay the money by the deadline will be permitted to attend the TNEA 2022 counselling session.
- Choosing options - Candidates must join in to the TNEA portal using their user ID and password after paying the 2023 TNEA Counseling cost (Same that used at the time of registration). Candidates will need to select their desired institutes and courses after successfully logging in.
- The selections that have been chosen are then locked. On the third day following the start of the round, candidates must ultimately lock the entered choices. After locking, no alteration will be permitted. A PDF document containing the candidates' locked options will be emailed to their registered email address together with the integrity code once the selections have been locked. The integrity code is intended to stop any further alterations to the applicant's submitted choice list. The system will automatically lock the choices if a candidate doesn't lock them within the allotted period.

According to the selections they made, the system will assign the candidates to the tentative seats. By logging into their accounts, candidates will be able to view the tentative TNEA seat allocation.

The candidates will have the choice to accept, refuse, or reject the offer after the seats have been allocated.

Finally, seats will be assigned by the authorities in accordance with the choices made by the candidates. The official portal makes the TNEA seat allocation results available.

Admission At this point, candidates who received seats in the final distribution must report to the designated institute to pay the admissions fee and confirm their seat.
