TNEA Last Date to Upload Documents - 9th June

The registration portal for the TNEA counselling process closed yesterday, 6th June 2025. However, students who have registered still have time till 9th June 2025 to upload all their important documents. Students who submitted their documents and completed their registration will be allotted their random numbers on 11th June 2025.

The documents need to be submitted for proper verification of students for the TNEA counselling process. After the date has passed, no students will be allowed to submit their documents for verification. It is recommended for students to submit scanned copies of their original documents as soon as possible. 

TNEA Important Documents to Upload

Students are recommended to upload scanned copies of their documents. Provided below is an overview of the important documents students need to upload for the TNEA counselling process: 

  • Class 10th Marksheet
  • Registration Fees Certificate 
  • HSC First Year Marksheet 
  • HSC Second Year Marksheet 
  • Transfer Certificate 
  • Details of Government school studied from Class 6th till 12th (for the 7.5% Government School Reservations)
  • Permanent Community Certificate for SCs, STs, MBC, DNC, BCM (can be digital or electronic)
  • Nativity Certificate (if applicable) 
  • Income Certificate (if applicable)
  • Sri Lankan Refugee Certificate (if applicable)
  • First Graduate Certificate and Graduate Joint Declaration (if applicable)
  • PwDs and differently abled students would need to submit medical certificates that are verified by 3 different doctors. 

TNEA Document Verification Process

Provided below is a step-by-step overview of the TNEA document verification process for students’ reference: 

  1. If the status of uploading shows incomplete, students will have to compile all of the important documents into a PDF format and upload it. 
  2. After finishing the upload, students must freeze the upload and log out. 
  3. If the status has changed to ‘In Progress’, that means the document verification process for the TNEA 2025 counselling has begun. 
  4. If the status changes to ‘Completed Successfully’, that means that students have completed the document verification process for TNEA 2025.
