Dr. KCG Verghese founded KCG College of Technology, a Christian Minority Institution. It offers 13 undergraduate programs and four postgraduate programs. Anna University has a permanent affiliation with the undergraduate programs. The National Board of Accreditation (NBA) has approved the Post Graduate programs in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Information Technology (IT), and Mechanical Engineering. Anna University has recognized five departments to provide PhD programs: CSE, ECE, EEE, Mechanical Engineering, and Physics. Admission to all of these programs is determined by a candidate’s performance in an entrance test such as JEE Main/TNEA (for B.Tech/BE) and TANCET (for MCA and M.Tech). The college has a hostel on campus with dining halls, continuous water supply, reading halls, and other amenities such as a library with an area of 11000 square feet and a collection of 45,815 books, 905 back volumes, 3105 project reports, and more than 1962 multimedia programs. Sports, transportation, a book bank, and an ambulance service are all accessible to students in case of an emergency.

KCG College of Technology, Chennai, or KCGCT, offers full-time engineering and architecture courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The PhD programmes at KCGCT Chennai are available in both full-time and part-time formats. KCGCT UG courses are comprised of four-year B.E/B.Tech degree programs in 12 specialisations. The KCGCT PG courses comprise five specializations in ME degree programmes that run around two years. Admission to Bachelor’s programmes is done through the Anna University Entrance Test (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission), which is followed by a counseling procedure for selection. Candidates who perform well in the HSC exams will be given preference. Students seeking admission to the Masters Program must first pass the TANCET administered by the state government, followed by central counseling. Admission is granted based on the candidate’s performance in TANCET, followed by counselling and document verification by Anna University. Students having a valid GATE score will be given preference. In the months of August and February, the college accepts applications for the Ph.D. program via the University Website. Selection is based on merit in the qualifying examination, which must include a valid GATE, NET, or equivalent admission score. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to take a written exam, followed by a personal interview.
Hostels: KCG College of Technology offers two on-campus hostels. One is for females, while the other is for boys. A double bed, a triple bed, or a four-bed are available as hostel accommodations. There are both shared and private restrooms accessible for students’ use. There is also a dining oil, a reading hall, television, and free Wi-Fi. Some rooms have air conditioning.
Library: The library of KCG College of Technology is 11000 square feet in size. In this library, 150 people may read or sit at the same time. The library has severe regulations that must be obeyed.
Emergency rooms and Ambulance: KCG College of Technology has launched new ambulance trucks for the college students and staff’s safety and medical facilities.
Sports: In addition to academics, KCG College of Technology focuses on student personality development and sports facilities. There is a sports club at the institute. Basketball, Ball Badminton, 5’s Football, Handball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Cricket, and many other sports are practised at KCG College of Technology. TNEA is required for students seeking for B.Tech programmes. The application form is available on the Anna University website. Candidates must pay INR 500 (for reserved candidates) or INR 700 (for SC/ST and OBC candidates). TNEA guidance Procedure: Based on the merit list, all qualified applicants who applied will be divided into rounds. Because counseling is done in rounds, candidates will be notified by SMS and email alerts to their registered email addresses and cell numbers during the process.
Candidates must fill out the online TNEA application form and register for it, giving personal and academic information. Fees for registration must be paid online. Download the application’s printout, which must be submitted only during certificate verification. The fees were INR 500 for general/OBC and INR 250 for SC/ST/SCA.
Random Number Generation: The system generates a number that is unique to each candidate. It is provided to answer questions posed by candidates throughout the admissions process.

Choice Filling: Candidates must select institutions among TNEA member institutes and B.Tech programs given by them in the order of their preference. Every round of therapy will allow for choice filling.
Seat Allotment: Candidates will be assigned seats depending on their merit, selection, and reservation conditions. They would be needed to download the allocation order and check the allocated college and course as written on the letter after seat allotment. After confirming their seats, students must report to the campus and enroll for admission by the deadline.

The Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) conducts counseling to allocate college seats.
TANCET will call candidates for counseling depending on their entrance marks, and they will be assigned to colleges in various fields through Counselling Systems.
The assigned pupils must return to college by the TANCET reporting deadline.
After receiving an Allotment Order, students must submit several papers to the institution and pay the costs.
