About TISS Mumbai
In 1936, the Sir Dorabji Tata Graduate School of Social Work was founded, which later became the Tata Institute of Social Sciences. The AICTE and UGC have approved the deemed university. Tuljapur, Hyderabad, Guwahati, and Mumbai are the locations of TISS. Canteen facility was started in 2006. The canteen of this institute is run by a self-help group of woman rag-pickers. It serves good quality nutritious food.
