All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) is the exam conducting authority of Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT). Applicants looking for admission to Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharmacy) can apply for GPAT 2020. The GPAT scores are acknowledged by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges. The scores of GPAT are likewise utilized for providing scholarship and other financial assistance in the field of pharmacy. This article would be in detail about GPAT Counseling.
Candidates who are possessing the legitimate scorecard of GPAT will be eligible for admission in different AICTE establishments. Seat allotment will be purely based on candidate's score of GPAT. In the light of GPAT rank/score, candidates can apply in participating institutions for admission to the Post Graduate Pharmacy Programs. Admission would be done through the centralized counseling as per the State Government Admission Procedure. Admission notification would be published on the GPAT Official portal or the official website in the available time.
Admission Procedure
For assigning seats to the applicants, AICTE will forward the merit list to the concerned state governments. The admissions would be provided through Centralized Counseling or according to the admission notice of the particular State Government. On the off chance, there is no centralized counseling would be conducted, students have the chance to apply in a straightforward manner in the AICTE approved institutions/University divisions/constituent schools/subsidiary universities. The participating organizations of GPAT will offer admission on the basis of applicant's GPAT scores.
