Accommodation
Without paying rent, electricity and water charges, each member gets accommodation at MLAs Quarters, Hyderabad provided by the State Government. If a member does not want an accommodation, the member is paid an accommodation allowance at the rate of Rs. 25,000/-. The Legislature Secretariat pays for the the monthly electricity and water bills relating to “Residence-cum-Camp Office” in the State.

Daily Allowance
Members get a daily allowance of Rs 1000 for attending a session of the Legislative Council or Legislative Assembly, or a committee meeting. If members live more than 50 kilometers away from Hyderabad and Secunderabad, they can also claim this allowance for the days before and after the meeting.

Facilities Provided to Members of Legislative Assembly in Telangana
The MLAs in Telangana are entitled to various facilities by the state government.
Travel Facility
If you're a Member who doesn’t hold any of the positions like Minister, Chairman, Speaker, Deputy Chairman, Deputy Speaker, Leader of Opposition, or Government Chief Whip, you can choose between getting railway coupons for First Class travel up to 70,000 kilometers per year or a cash amount based on the current train fares. Also, you and your spouse can travel together or with someone else on any train in India. The cash amount will be paid in two parts: one in the first half of the year and the other in the second half, following certain rules that apply.

Bus Travel Facility
TSRTC operates bus services in Telangana. Members and their spouses can travel free of cost together or single in all the stage carriage vehicles run by TSRTC on city, Intra-State and Inter-State routes. But, they must possess an identity card. The identity card is issued by the Secretary, Legislature
Secretariat. The member or spouse is allowed an attendant when they are travelling single, at free of cost.
Medical Facility
Members of Legislature and their eligible family members are entitled to medical treatment, subject to the provisions of the state government.
Vehicle Advance
Members can get a Motor Car Advance of up to Rs. 30 lakhs or the actual price of the vehicle, whichever is lower, for each term. The loan must be paid back with interest at a rate of 4% per year.

Personal Assistant
The provision for Personal Assistant is governed by the regulations of the state government from time to time.
All the members can appoint a Personal Assistant on deputation from the Government Departments upto the cadre of Senior Assistant from the respective Constituency/District Establishment.
The appointed person will get the salary from the the parent Department. He will also get a fixed Travelling Allowance of Rs.1,000/- (Rupees One Thousand only) per month.
In extraordinary cases, retired Government employee as his/her Personal Assistant can also be appointed when the MLA wishes so. In this case, consolidated remuneration of Rs.6,000/- (Rupees Six Thousand only) per month will be given to the appointed person.

Amenities Provided to Ex-Legislators in Telangana
- According to section 11-D of the Telangana Payment of Salaries and Pension and Removal of Disqualifications (Amendment) Act, 2021, former members of the State Legislature (both the Council and Assembly) can receive a pension of Rs. 50,000 per month for their first term, or any part of it.
- For each additional year they served in later terms, they get Rs. 2,000 per month.
- However, the total pension cannot be more than Rs. 70,000 a month. If they've served for at least six months, that counts as a full year.
- The spouse of a deceased ex-legislator who hasn’t remarried can receive the pension that the ex-legislator would have gotten if they were still alive.
- There are certain rules set by the government that apply from time to time. Ex-legislators, their deceased spouses, and eligible family members can use medical facilities as mentioned in the rules that is revised from time to time.
- Also, ID cards are given to ex-legislators and their spouses. These cards can be used for free travel on all TSRTC buses.
