Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune, aka Symbiosis Pune is a private university established in 1971 and given the “Deemed to be” status in 2002. Recognized by UGC, given A+ by NAAC was ranked 32nd in University by NIRF in 2023. Offering more than 60 courses to choose from at all the levels. With the campus spanning at 300 acres, SIU also has their branch in 4+ states and even internationally.
It is considered, by many, one of the best private university in India. SIU Pune received Category-1 by UGC too.

Symbiosis International University offers a variety of course in UG, PG, and Diploma that students can choose from to take admission. Symbiosis International University Placement
Symbiosis International University (SIU) has a placement cell that caters towards students in preparing them for their career ahead. They cover all the aspects of the students from employability skills, soft skills, industry training, workshops and much more. The placement cell handles the placement drive in the SIU University every year from inviting the companies to organizing interviews to making sure students are well prepared for the placement drives.
Placement Cell also conducts a lot of workshops, internship drives and classes for students to excel in practical skills. The students are also prepared for the written test and the GD plus personal interview round of the drive. 100% placement was observed in MBA last year
In UG and PG courses the average package saw an uptick in 2023, the offered packages were 9LPA and 21LPA, respectively, the UG median package was 7.5LPA in 2022 that is around 16% raise. While for PG courses the median package in 2022 was 17LPA, to 21LPA in 2023 having an almost 19% rise in median packages. While the highest offered package was 42LPA. With a 100% placement rate in PG courses.

Symbiosis International University provides three different kind of scholarships to the students that are listed below
- Jayatee Deshmukh Scholarship - This scholarship is provided to girl students who are pursuing any UG course in SIU. Some concession on fee is provided
- Merit Based Scholarship - It is given to the students who have exceptional academic performance, a concession of 20-50% is provided on the overall fee for the year/semester
- Sports Quota - Students studying in SIU who have previously participated at State/National/International level in any sports are given a scholarship
