NEET PG 2025 answer key release remains in question owing to growing demand from aspirants. While NBE is yet to confirm the release of the answer key and response sheet of NEET PG 2025, the Supreme Court has directed NBE to release the answer key, stressing the need for transparency

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) successfully conducted the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduates (NEET PG 2025) on August 3, 2025. Over 2 Lakh candidates appeared for this entrance examination conducted for admission to MD, MS courses across India. NBEMS has already announced that the NEET PG result 2025will be announced on or before September 3, 2025.However, it is expected that NBE will publish the NEET PG answer key 2025 and response sheet along with the raw marks received by the candidates.

SC Directs NBE to Release NEET PG 2025 Answer Key

The NEET PG 2025 SC verdict directed NBE to release the NEET PG answer key 2025 and the response sheet of the candidates in order to ensure transparency in the entrance examination. The SC verdict on NEET PG 2025 answer key was given after multiple requests from the candidates urging SC to interfere and direct NBE to release NEET PG answer key and paper solution.

The Supreme Court Bench, comprising Justices JB Pardiwala and JR Mahadevan, observed that releasing the NEET PG answer key could improve transparency in the entrance exam. They noted that sharing this key information would help build trust and ensure fairness in the high-stakes medical PG exam, which sees over 2 lakh candidates every year.

NEET PG 2025: SC Focuses on Transparency and Seat Management

Apart from directing NBE to release NEET PG answer key and scores, the bench also directed MCC and NBE to ensure a synchronised counselling calendar for All India Quota (AIQ) and state quota seats. The bench also directed the committee to offer more seat upgradation after the round 2 counselling process and Aadhar-based seat tracking to curb dual seat allotment.
