Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD), Mysore, was established in 1993. It provides residential learning to closely 400 students for Post-Graduate Management Programmes every year. The institution is recognized by AICTE and accredited by NBA. The faculty established by SDM Education Trust, is affiliated to University of Mysore and Tumkur University, Kerala.

Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development (SDMIMD), ranked among the top Business Schools in India, is located at the foot of Chamundi Hills in the heritage city of Mysore in Karnataka. The institute is promoted by the SDM Educational Trust with the visionary leadership of our Chairman, Padma Bhushan Dr. D. Veerendra Heggade. SDMIMD’s AICTE-approved PGDM program that is accredited by NBA runs for six terms over two years with an impeccable quality of academic rigour. 

SDMIMD offers a range of courses in the Management stream, including PGDM, PGCM, and PGPSM, catering to candidates with Bachelor’s degrees. The institute also conducts Ph.D. programs for individuals with Master’s degrees in relevant fields. Admission to these courses is facilitated through online applications, and the selection process primarily relies on the candidates’ performance in qualifying exams.

For the PGDM program, admissions are based on merit in the 12th exam and an entrance exam, followed by a personal interview round. On the other hand, for the PGCM program, candidates’ scores in national level entrance tests such as GMAT, CAT, MAT, XAT, KMAT, NMAT, or the SAT test conducted by SDMIMD are taken into consideration during the selection process.

Selection criteria is depending on the marks of qualified exam, competitive exam score, extracurricular merit together with personal interview session. 

PGCM

Selection is on merit basis in graduation and entrance exam like SAT/CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT/GMAT

Ph.D

Candidate must have passed MBA or equivalent master’s degree with minimum 55% marks from a recognised Board/University

Selection is completed on merit basis in Ph.D. entrance test followed by a round of interview

SDMIMD Mysore Admission 2024

To apply for admissions at SDMIMD, Mysore for the year 2024, candidates are required to follow the online application process outlined on the official website. The admission criteria are as follows:

PGDM Course Admissions: Admission to the PGDM course considers factors such as academic qualifications, scores in competitive entrance exams (such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, ATMA, MAT, CMAT), involvement in extracurricular activities, and any relevant work experience.

PGCM Course Admissions: To secure admission to the PGCM program, candidates need to attain a valid qualifying score in national-level entrance tests like CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, KMAT, or NMAT. Alternatively, candidates can also opt for the SDMIMD Admission Test (SAT) for admission consideration.

Ph.D. Admissions: For Ph.D. admissions, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria by qualifying the National Eligibility Test (NET), Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET), University of Mysore Ph.D. Entrance Exam, or being a qualified applicant for the University Grants Commission Junior Research Fellow (UGC-JRF).

Interview Process: Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend an interview at the SDMIMD campus.
