Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test, which is widely known as UPTET is an examination conducted once a year at the state level. This exam helps students become eligible for Teacher's positions at Primary and Upper Primary level in the schools of Uttar Pradesh. Primary school is from class 1 to 5 and Upper Primary school is from class 6 to 8. The exam is conducted by the Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory authority on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). There exam is usually conducted in two shifts for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The UPTET Paper 1 is conducted for candidates who wish to become primary class teachers while UPTET Paper 2 is conducted for candidates who wish to become Upper Primary Teachers.
Besides, those who wish to become teachers of class 1 to 8 are required to appear in both UPTET Paper 1 and UPTET Paper 2.

UPTET 2022 Exam process is expected to begin shortly with the release of an official notification. The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test, UPTET Exam is conducted to determine if the candidates stand eligible for Primary Teachers and Upper Primary Teachers Post across various schools in Uttar Pradesh. The examination conducting body will soon release the UPTET Latest Notification 2022 PDF on the UPTEST Official Website. The UPTET Exam Date is generally released in an official notification. The UPTET Notification consists of dates related to the other events of the exam such as registration, admit card release, exam date, answer key, result, etc.
The UPTET Notification will be released on the official website of UPTET. The UPTET Notification PDF released on the official website will consist of the crucial details. These details will include the steps to apply for UPTET Exam, eligibility of UPTET, exam dates, exam pattern, UPTET syllabus, etc. Candidates who qualify UPTET Exam will be considered eligible to apply for the recruitment process of Primary or upper primary level across the schools of Uttar Pradesh. The qualified candidates will be considered eligible only after the declaration of UPTET Result. The validity of UPTET Eligibility will remain for a lifetime as the National Council for Teacher Education has extended the validity of the TET Certificate received by candidates after the UPTET Result is declared.
