Punjab BEd Admission 2024 is conducted by the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, on the basis of an entrance exam, Punjab BEd CET. The Punjab BEd Admission is based on the joint BEd entrance exam and centralized Punjab BEd counseling.
To be eligible for Punjab BEd Admission 2024, candidates must secure 50% marks in a bachelor's degree in engineering or technology or a master's degree from any stream. The Punjab BEd CET 2024 was conducted on July 31, 2024 and the results were declared on August 08, 2024.
The Punjab B.Ed seat reservation is decided as per the policies laid out by the Government of Punjab. BEd admission 2024 in colleges affiliated with Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, Panjab University, Chandigarh, and Punjabi University, Patiala will be strictly based on Punjab BEd CET 2024.
· The candidates are required to fill out the college and subject choices at the official website (http://punjabbedadmissions.org/). The colleges will be allotted on the basis of a merit list.
· Working professionals are not eligible for Punjab BEd admission 2024. They are required to take a leave till the entire course duration.
· 15% of seats under all India quota are subject to admission as per policies laid out by the central government.
· Preference will be given to the candidate who a) has higher score in graduation or b) is older in age, if the two candidates score equal aggregate or percentage in Punjab BEd CET exam.
· The final admission is based on document verification. Candidates who fail to verify documents or fulfil eligiblity criteria as per the norms will lose their seat.
