What is Polytechnic Entrance Exam?

AP POLYCET Admission 2023

The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) in Andhra Pradesh conducts the Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) to offer admission to Diploma in Engineering programmes throughout the state. The registration process for the AP POLYCET exam 2023 began on February 16, 2023, and the deadline to fill out the AP POLYCET 2023 application form is April 30, 2023. Furthermore, on May 10, 2023, SBTET will hold the AP POLYCET exam. The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) in Andhra Pradesh conducts the Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Entrance Test (AP POLYCET) to offer admission to Diploma in Engineering programmes throughout the state. The registration process for the AP POLYCET exam 2023 began on February 16, 2023, and the deadline to fill out the AP POLYCET 2023 application form is April 30, 2023. Assam PAT Admission 2023

Every year, the Directorate of Technical Education of Assam conducts the Assam Polytechnic Admission Test (Assam PAT) for polytechnic diploma admission into various engineering and technology diploma programmes offered in colleges across the state of Assam. The application form for the Assam PAT test 2023 will be available on April 10, 2023, and the Polytechnic exam date 2023 for Assam PAT will be June 11th, 18th, or 25th, 2023. Candidates can register for the Assam PAT 2023 exam until May 5, 2023.

DCECE Admission 2023 (Bihar)

The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) administers the Diploma-Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination (DCECE) for admission to full-time and part-time Diploma in Engineering programmes in Bihar's polytechnic colleges. The DCECE 2023 registration procedure is planned to begin in the third week of May 2023, with the Polytechnic test date 2023 for the DCECE exam scheduled for the final week of July 2023.

CG PPT Admission 2023

The CG PPT is a state-level entrance exam for diploma programmes offered by Chattisgarh's participating universities. The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur, plans to start accepting applications for the CG PPT test 2023 in the third week of April 2023, with the exam taking place in the last week of May 2023.

Delhi CET Admission 2023

The Department of Training & Technical Education (DTTE) administers the Delhi Common Entrance Test (Delhi CET), a state-level polytechnic entrance test.  Candidates who pass the Delhi CET exam are admitted to polytechnic courses offered by Board of Technical Education (BTE) affiliated institutes in Delhi. The Delhi Directorate of Technical Education is planning to release the application form for the Delhi CET 2023 test in the third week of June 2023, with the exam taking place in August 2023.

HP PAT Admission 2023

The Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board (HPTSB) Dharamshala administers an offline examination for admission to several diploma degrees at institutes around the state. The HP PAT 2023 exam registration procedure is expected to begin in the first week of April 2023, with the exam taking place on May 21, 2023.

MP PAT Admission 2023

The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) conducts MP PPT to give admission to applicants in various diploma courses in Madhya Pradesh institutes. The Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB) is slated to start accepting applications for the MP PPT 2023 exam in June 2023, with the exam taking place in July 2023.

TS POLYCET Admission 2023

The State Board of Technical Education and Training (SBTET) Hyderabad administers the TS POLYCET for admission to various diploma programmes at institutes throughout Telangana. The application window for the TS POLYCET exam 2023 opened on January 16, 2023, and the exam will be held on May 17, 2023. Candidates can apply for the TS POLYCET 2023 exam till April 24, 2023, without incurring any late fees, and until April 25, 2023, with an INR 100 late fee.

JEECUP Admission 2023

The Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (Polytechnic), popularly known as JEECUP, is a state-level entrance exam for admission to diploma programmes in Uttar Pradesh. The registration process for the JEECUP test 2023 is open until May 1, and the exam will be held from June 1 to 5, 2023.

Uttarakhand JEEP 2023

The Uttarakhand Board of Technical Education Roorkee (UBTE) administers the Uttarakhand JEEP for admission to various polytechnic programmes in institutes throughout Uttarakhand. State-wise Polytechnic Admission and Eligibility Criteria

Each state has their own eligibility criteria and admission process for the Polytechnic entrance exam 2022. The process varies from one state to another. It is advisable for the candidate to go through the detailed admission procedure and eligibility criteria of the respective state that they are interested to apply in. Candidates must fulfil the entire eligibility criteria of the Polytechnic entrance exam 2022 of their respective states to ensure acceptance of the application. Here is the state-wise list of admission processes of different states:

Haryana Polytechnic DET Admission 2023

The Haryana State Technical Education Society, or HSTES, administers the Haryana DET (Diploma Entrance Test) at the state level. The HSTES authority administers admissions exams for diploma, pharmacy, and lateral entry diploma programmes.

Haryana Polytechnic DET Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

The candidate must first apply to take the exam as any individual who has completed 10th grade from any state or central board of education is eligible to take the exams. The aspirant must apply online to take the Haryana DET entrance exam. Following the test, the HSTES council conducts the DET counselling process. Students must register online to participate in the counselling procedure, in which counsellors allocate the college to the students for admission based on the candidate's DET score and preference of institution and course, if available.

Maharashtra Polytechnic Admission 2023

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra supervises the entrance tests as well as the admission processes for polytechnic courses. The council organises the CAP, or Centralised Admission Process, for Maharashtra Polytechnic admissions. 

Maharashtra Polytechnic Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

10th Passed or SSC or equivalent level students are eligible for applying to Maharashtra Polytechnic Colleges. Candidates must visit the official website of Maharashtra DTE to fill in the choices and CAP form for appearing in CAP counselling sessions. When the Maharashtra DTE releases the CAP Round 1 Provincial Allotment notification, the selected candidates must appear in person at the admission reporting Centre to make the admission process hassle-free. In the same manner, the CAP round will follow. The student must visit the college to complete the admission process after selection.

Rajasthan Polytechnic Admission 2023

In Rajasthan, there is no polytechnic entrance exam for admissions. Admissions are based on the merit list, which is published along with the 10th-class score of the candidates. The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) administers the admission procedure for polytechnic admissions in the state of Rajasthan. Whatsoever, the norms are subject to change as per the directives of DTE.

Rajasthan Polytechnic Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

Students must have passed 10th Class from any school in Rajasthan recognized by the state or centre board of education to become eligible to apply for polytechnic admission. Candidates seeking admission into polytechnic colleges must register themselves at the official website of Rajasthan Polytechnic DTE. Once the merit list is published, the students need to fill in the choices and register for counselling sessions. Post counselling, the students will be allotted a college of their choice, which they must visit physically to complete the admission process. Those students who don't get allotted in the first counselling session have the chance of getting admission in the second counselling.

Kerala Polytechnic Admission 2023

The Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) supervises and conducts the admission process for polytechnic aspiring candidates in Kerala. There are no specific entrance exams for Kerala Polytechnic admission. The admissions are based on prior academic records.

Kerala Polytechnic Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

Eligibility criteria for the Kerala Polytechnic entrance exam are passing class 10th, SSLC, THSLC, or equivalent examination from the approved state or central board of education. Aspiring students must register on the official website with the aggregate score of Class 10th or other suggested examination results. Candidates must update their college and course choices. The DTE releases a provincial merit list and conducts counselling sessions correspondingly. The Council allows the seats as per student choices, after which students have to appear in person in the college to fulfil the remaining admission requirements.

Odisha Polytechnic Admission 2023

The State Council for Technical Education & Vocational Training (SCTE&VT) is responsible for conducting admission processes in diploma engineering colleges in the state of Odisha. Since there are no entrance examinations, the admission process is entirely merit-based. SAMS or Student Academic Management System conducts and manages polytechnic courses.

Odisha Polytechnic Eligibility Criteria and Admission Process

Class 10th passed students from the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha is considered eligible for admission into Odisha Polytechnic courses. Interested students have to visit SAMS + 3 other websites to register themselves for the counselling sessions. Students must fill in the details related to past academic records, and choice of course/college and submit the application form. The students will be assigned colleges under multiple rounds of counselling sessions. Once selected, the candidates have to visit the college for further admission formalities.
