BSc nursing admissions are based on entrance exams. Students must qualify a minimum of 50% score to get admissions into BSc nursing courses. The duration for BSc nursing entrance exam varies as per the entrance exam. While some exam duration range between 90-120 minutes, others may extend up to 180 minutes, especially when the entrance exam is divided into two papers.

What is BSc Nursing?

BSs Nursing Course or Bachelor of Nursing is a four-year UG program in the domain of medical science. As per the UGC guidelines, the course is credit-based and follows a semester system. It aims at exposing students to the theories and principles of nursing in general with a major focus on the overall wellness, disease management, illness, and health awareness. BSc Nursing Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for BSc nursing admissions are as follows:

  • Candidates who have passed 10+2 (PCM+ English core/elective subject) with an aggregate 45% score from a recognized board are eligible to apply for BSc course.
  • Candidates with 45% marks in 10+2 Science Examinations from National Institute of Open School are also eligible to apply.
  • Candidates must fall between the age limit 17-35 years.
  • Candidates must be fit both physically and mentally.
  • Candidates are admitted only once a year.
