B Tech Civil Engineering Admission

There is a different B Tech Civil Engineering Admission procedure for each institute. Some institutes admit students on the basis of their entrance examinations and others take students on the basis of JEE Main, JEE Advanced, etc. There are several B Tech Civil Engineering Entrance Examinations that are conducted like BITSAT, SRMJEEE, VITEEE, SITEEE, AMUEEE, etc. Further, examination like JEE Main is conducted by the National Testing Agency whereas the other examinations are conducted by their respective institutes.

However, top institutions like the IITs and NITs do not accept applications for direct admission from candidates with a civil engineering diploma. Additionally, many private universities offer direct admission on the fair basis of academic standing or donation. Candidates are assigned seats through counseling, which is governed by the relevant authorities of these institutes, after being accepted for the entrance exam.

B Tech in Civil Engineering Entrance Examination

JEE Main

Joint Entrance Examination Main is an examination that is conducted by the National Testing Agency. Candidates who wish to pursue the course of Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering can take this examination. Various institutes take admissions on the basis of the marks secured in this examination.    

JEE Advanced

BITSAT
