- CBSE Results 2024 Class 12 Check Online
- UCEED Round 1 Seat Allotment will be out on 10th April, 2024.
- DTU BTech admissions will be starting soon. The DTU BTech admissions will be taken based on JEE Main Score. The JEE Main Session II Exam will be held from 4th April, 2024 to 15th April, 2024. The JEE Main Session II Exam Result 2024 will be released on 25th April, 2024.
- DTU MBA admission 2024 has started through CMAC counseling. The candidates can apply for admission into the MBA course on the CMAC portal till 19th April, 2024.
- Registrations for CUET UG 2024 for admission into DU UG courses are open now. The last date for registration is 5th April, 2024. The exam will be held from 15th May 2024 to 31st May 2024.
- The tentative date for online registrations for CCMT 2024 is June 2024. DTU MBA admissions are via GATE 2024 score followed by CCMT counseling.
About College
DTU Delhi is the first engineering college in Delhi. It was established in 1941 and was then known as Delhi Polytechnic. Later its name was changed to Delhi College of Engineering and was affiliated with the University of Delhi from 1952 to 2009. Since 1963, the institute has been managed by the Government of the National Capital Territory of Delhi. It was given the status of state university in the year 2009 and became popularized as Delhi Technological University, widely known as DTU.
DTU Delhi is ranked 40th in the University category, 29th in the engineering category, and 19th in the law category as per NIRF for the year 2023 and secured the 8th position in India Today Engineering Rankings 2023. It bagged the position between 801-1000th under the Times Higher Education World University Ranking 2024. It was ranked between #701-750 for the QS Asian University Ranking 2024. DTU Delhi is mainly famous for its Engineering and Management courses. These courses are offered at the undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate levels.

DTU Delhi Admission 2024 Application Process
DTU Admission 2024 to the courses is based on the candidate's score in the entrance exams conducted for respective courses. Admission to these courses is also based on the merit list according to the performance in the entrance exams. Below is the step by step explanation for the DTU Delhi Admission 2024 application process.
Step 1- DTU Entrance Exam 2024
Admission to most of the DTU courses is through accepted entrance exams such as UCEED, GATE, CAT, MAT, CMAT, etc. BTech admission is based on score of JEE Main entrance exam after which the counseling process is conducted by JAC Delhi. Therefore, the interested candidates must first qualify the entrance exam specific to their desired course.
Step 2- Application form
Candidates should visit the official website to apply for their desired courses. For B.Tech course, candidates should apply through JAC Delhi.
Step 3- Interview/Counseling Round
Selected candidates must go through the interview and counseling rounds, according to their merit performance in the concerned entrance exam.
Step 4- Final Admission
DTU Delhi admission is finalised after verifying the documents and payment of the final admission fee.

Best college for Overall Development
Placement: The best placements are provided in the college. Packages offered are not much high, but the number of placements is high. The average package offered is 7 LPA, and the highest package offered is 24 LPA. A huge number of internships are provided. About 90% of the student’s intern during college. Faculty: Faculty members in the college are available comprising of many M tech and Ph.D. students as well as professional teachers too. They all are having a good knowledge of their respective subjects. Some teach only through the notes. The course curriculum is well prepared so that if you have studied, once you need just to revise it before exam day. Faculty members are quite helpful and supportive. They can solve any problem of students related to the course.
College: DTU has a superb infrastructure with well furnished all equipment. The best placements are provided in the college. Packages offered are not much high, but the number of placements is high. Admission in Btech program is done through Jee Main Paper only. Spacious and air-conditioned classrooms are available. Free medical facilities are provided for all students and faculty members. Almost every week, some events related to technical and non-technical are conducted. Cultural Society is pretty amazing. You’ll get a chance to represent your college. The library is amazing and huge. Sports campus is huge. Engifest, the annual fest is amazing. Our cultural councils are literally doing a great job.

The average package offered is 7 LPA, and the highest package offered is 24 LPA. A huge number of internships are provided. About 90% of the student’s intern during college. One of the best Engineering College in India
Exam: State / National Entrance Exams
Placement: Being at the national capital it very much have most exposure to industry as it can get. Along with an excellent brand name it never fails to provide opportunities to all. Most of the seniors are placed and have a decent package. Overall the companies that visit campus are very large in number along with all types of offer ranging from core to non-tech to coding profile.
Faculty: My favorite teacher is S.S.P. kumar sir. He was my maths teacher in 1st semester. He was by far the only teacher that really cared about student and was keen on helping each and every student. He would give his full focus to teaching and teaching even hard parts with ease by giving well explained analysis. Though Professors like him are rare in college though there are few more and are only remains of what used to be an amazing faculty back when it was DCE. He has more than 20 years teaching experience in DTU alone. New teachers mostly Phd. Scholars are no match for teaching students and college should refrain from using them.
College: I got into this college just a year back but fells like ages. You will have most fun of your life in this college. Make sure not to miss it. I don’t think there is any disadvantage to this college apart from deteriorating quality of professors ( Due to such high student intake). Rest it is an amazing college with most vibrant and fascinating campus life.

DTU - one of the best university
Exam: College’s Internal Written Exam
Placement: DTU has a lot of industrial collaborations. We have also had a lot of industrial visits to other places.
Faculty: All of them are good in general. More than the teachers, I enjoy the extra-curricular activities here.
