What is APSC Grade IV?
In Assam Public Service Commission, Grade IV refers to entry-level government positions such as clerks, assistants, and support staff. APSC Grade IV Recruitment for 2025
- The APSC is looking to fill 20 Grade IV positions. The official announcement is Advt. No. 30/2025.
- You can start applying on September 10, 2025. Make sure to submit your application by October 9, 2025. The last day to pay application fees is October 11, 2025.
- 20 positions are divided by category: UR/OC: 10, OBC/MOBC: 5, SC: 2, Tea Tribe & Adivasi: 1, STP: 1, STH: 1.
Eligibility Details
- Education: You must have passed the 8th grade to apply. If you have a high school diploma or equivalent (12th grade), you are also eligible. If you have education beyond this, you cannot apply.
- Age: As of January 1, 2025, you must be between 18 and 40 years old. Age relaxations apply for certain categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD) as per Assam government rules.
- Application Fee: There is no application fee. However, all applicants must pay a processing fee of ₹47.20 through CSC-SPV.
- How to Apply: You must apply online through the APSC website (apsc.nic.in). Register on the site, complete the application form, upload the needed documents, pay the processing fee, and submit everything by the deadline.
