Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga Placements 2025
The 2024 NIRF overall report for Lalit Narayan Mithila University gives us some important placement trends for 2023. For UG 4-year courses the median salary package was INR 3.5 LPA from 56 students who were placed (eight of which we went to work) and for PG 2-year courses we had a higher median package at INR 4 LPA.
In terms of year-on-year changes, we saw that the median packages for UG 4-year courses dropped about 18% compared to last year. However, for PG 2-year courses median salary packages increased over 14 over last year.
LNMU Placement Report 2024
As highlighted in LNMU NIRF 2024 report of placements in 2023 showed marked differences when compared to those in 2022.
In the UG 4-year courses, the median salary package dropped from INR 4.25 LPA in 2022 to INR 3.5 LPA in 2023. The number of eligible students fell slightly from 59 to 56, but the total number of students placed fell markedly from 22 in 2022 to 8 in 2023 and the number of students seeking higher studies has also dropped to 4 from 17 in 2022.
In the PG 2-year data, the median package rose from INR 3.5 LPA in 2022 to INR 4 LPA in 2023. The total number of students increased from 45 to 1,761 and total placements increased noticeably from 23 students to 140. The total number of students pursuing higher studies dropped from 8 in 2022 to 4 in 2023.
