Harcourt Butler Technological University (HBTU), Kanpur Courses
HBTU operates through five specialized schools to provide comprehensive courses of study for all undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral options. The university is NBA-accredited in terms of courses and has been graded in its first cycle with NAAC, receiving an A+ grade in quality standards.
HBTU is composed of five schools with specialized education:
- School of Engineering - It offers traditional engineering disciplines: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science, Electronics, and Information Technology
- School of Chemical Technology - It offers specialized courses and programs: Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Food Technology, Oil Technology, Paint Technology, Plastic Technology, Leather Technology
- School of Basic and Applied Sciences - It offers programs of study in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biotechnology
- School of Entrepreneurship and Management - Business administration and management courses
- School of Humanities and Social Sciences - Liberal arts and social science courses
HBTU offers various UG and PG programs in different specializations such as B.E. / B.Tech, B.Sc. and M.E./M.Tech. The courses are well offered in a well-defined curriculum, which is planned to make students fit for industry-ready for the future.
Depending on the course the candidate chooses, the duration of the program might range from one year to five years.
