The notification of most awaited and most sought after management entrance examination CAT 2019 has been released and the application procedure started from 7th August 2019. The registration window will remain open till 18th September 2019 and interested candidates are advised to fill the application form online on the official website of CAT i.e. iimcat.ac.in.

The question paper primarily consists of three sections namely Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC). Each section comprises of several topics that must be covered to qualify the examination.

There are total 100 question asked from these three sections and the allotted time to solve these questions is 180 minutes i.e. 3 hours.

The first step towards preparing for CAT Exam is the selection of right and relevant books. What to Study?

In order to crack CAT examination, it is very important to make right choices when it comes to CAT Preparation books. There are 34 questions asked in this section. The syllabus of Quantitative Aptitude is vast and needs a consistent practice. CAT 2019 Exam Pattern

The Indian Institute of Management- Calcutta has released the details about CAT exam pattern. The exam pattern for the current year has been slightly changed and the same has been continued since 2014.

Though there had been numerous changes in the CAT Exam Pattern for last 4 years, the basic structure remains the same. According to the revised examination structure, the CAT examination will comprise of 3 sections and will be conducted for 100 marks. The time duration for each section will be 60 minutes.
