If you've applied for the TNPSC Group 1 Preliminary exam, you could make changes to your application. The correction window opened from May 2 to May 4. Keep in mind, no changes can be made after this period.

TNPSC Group 1 2025 Exam Selection Process

The selection process for TNPSC Group 1 has three stages:

Stage 1: First, there's a preliminary exam that acts like a screening test.

Stage 2: Next is the Mains exam, which is a written test. Only candidates who pass the prelims can take this exam.

Stage 3: The final step is a personal interview.

The final merit list will be based on the scores from the Mains exam and the interview.

TNPSC Group 1 Interview

The final part of the TNPSC Group 1 exam is the interview, which is of 100 marks. There aren’t any passing marks for this stage. All candidates who pass the Mains exam must attend the interview.
