CUET 2025 Safe Scores

On average, scoring 400 marks or less on the CUET examination is considered to be in the range of low to too low of a score. With 400 marks on the CUET exam, students cannot expect to get into some of the best or even decent colleges. Scores less than 400 may have a student be considered ‘pass’ on the exam, but they are not safe in terms of the colleges students can get into.

However, students who score in the range of 400- 600 marks on the CUET exam have a chance of being considered ‘safe’. These marks ensure that students have passed the exam. These marks are also not considered to be in the range of being ‘low’ or ‘too low’. These marks ensure students are in the range of getting into some decent and respected colleges in the country.

CUET Marks vs Percentage

The higher marks a student scores on the CUET exam, the more likely they are to get into a good college. Students with higher scores have a higher percentage which makes it easier to get into some of the top colleges. The total scores of the CUET exam depend on the subjects taken by students and their individual scores. Provided below is an overview of the percentages students can expect after receiving certain scores on the CUET examination. The CUET marks vs percentage are as follows:
