Hindu College Admissions

The admission process at Hindu College Delhi is based on the merit of the candidates in the qualifying examination. For undergraduate courses, admission is through the cut-off list released by the University of Delhi. For postgraduate courses, admission is through the entrance examination conducted by the University of Delhi.

For admission to the Delhi University undergraduate program, CUET scores will be considered followed by e-counselling. Candidates need to register for e-counselling through the online platform. The e-counselling process includes two rounds, where students can select the college they wish to attend. Admissions to DU colleges will be granted based on the CUET scores of candidates.

  • These include the Premvati Raghubir Singh Scholarships, which provides two scholarships of INR 700 per year to resident students who achieve a 1st Division in the last examination conducted and to financially needy students. 
  • The R.B. Ram Kishan Dass Scholarships offer 25 scholarships of INR 700 each year to financially weaker students who secure a minimum of 55% marks in the last conducted examination. 
  • The Ch. Bhagwan Sahai Chauhan Memorial Scholarships award one scholarship of INR 300 per year to the student achieving the highest marks among the 1st Division holders of M.A. Sanskrit/ Hindi (P) and (F).

  • The Lala Prem Lal Gupta Memorial Scholarship offers one scholarship of INR 300 per year on the basis of merit-cum-means. 
  • The Rajiv Mehra Memorial Scholarship is awarded every year to financially weak and deserving students who are not receiving any Government, University, College or any other scholarship, and the Master Sheoprasad Memorial Scholarship is a monthly scholarship based on merit-cum-means awarded for one year to a BA/ B.Sc. Mathematics 2nd/ 3rd year student.

Accommodation: Hindu College offers a boys hostel located within the campus premises. The hostel has 117 rooms that can accommodate a total of 210 male students.
