Latest Updates: Hindu College has released a notification regarding the Scholarship for the 2023-24 batch. The last to submit the Application form with relevant documents is 14 December 2023.

CUET 2024 Registration for UG admissions will start on February 9, 2024. Candidates are required to go through the CUET UG 2024 eligibility for admission to Hindu College. The Exam will take place on May 21 – May 31, 2024.

Hindu College Admissions is merit-based. For undergraduate courses, admission is through the cut-off list released by the University of Delhi. For PG courses, admission is through the entrance examination conducted by the University of Delhi.

For admission to the Delhi University UG program, the CUET exam must be qualified. Candidates need to register for e-counseling through the online platform. The e-counseling process includes two rounds, where students can select the college they wish to attend.

Candidates interested in sports must appear for a performance test and the CUET entrance exam. Selection for ECA requires the candidate’s CUET examination score and performance test. To be eligible for ECA, candidates must score at least 25% on their CUET and 75% on their performance test.

Hindu College Scholarships

Hindu College offers various scholarship programs to its students such as: 

  • The Premvati Raghubir Singh Scholarships: It provides two scholarships of INR 700 per year to resident students. The eligible candidates must achieve a 1st Division in the last examination and be financially weak.
  • The R.B. Ram Kishan Dass Scholarships offer 25 scholarships of INR 700 per year. Candidates with a minimum of 55% marks in the last exam and economically weaker, can apply for it.
  • The Ch. Bhagwan Sahai Chauhan Memorial Scholarships award one scholarship of INR 300 per year. Students achieving the highest marks among the 1st Division holders of M.A. Sanskrit/ Hindi (P) and (F) are eligible.
  • The Rai Achhru Ram Scholarships provide four scholarships of INR 850 per year to M.A./ M.Sc. students of Hindu College based on merit.
  • The S.P. Raina Memorial Scholarship grants one scholarship for INR 425 per year to a B.A. (H) 3rd-year student. It is for the Arts/ Humanities/ Commerce department students. The scholarship given depends on their 1st and 2nd-year performance in the University exam.
  • The Lala Prem Lal Gupta Memorial Scholarship offers one scholarship of INR 300 per year based on merit-cum-means.
  • The Rajiv Mehra Memorial Scholarship is awarded every year to financially weak and deserving students. Candidates who are not receiving any Government, University, College, or any other scholarship are eligible.
  • The Master Sheoprasad Memorial Scholarship is a monthly scholarship based on merit-cum-means. It is for one year to a BA/ B.Sc. Mathematics 2nd/ 3rd year student.
