Latest Updates: DCAC admissions 2023 for all UG programmes via the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal at Delhi University have begun. The DU CSAS site at ugadmission.uod.ac.in requires candidates who took the CUET exam to register online. Delhi University will shortly publish the CSAS 2023 schedule on the official admissions portal, admission.uod.ac.in for filling out the preferences for programmes and colleges.

Delhi College of Arts & Commerce, widely known as DCAC, commenced its establishment in the academic year of 1987. It is a constituent and one of the eminent colleges of Delhi University. The college was established under the aegis of the Delhi Administration. The college has been recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and accredited with a grade ’B+’ by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). The primary aim of establishing the institute is to have students instilled with quality education and foster ideas for implementation.

The Coeducational Delhi College of Arts and Commerce is a school affiliated with Delhi University. The institution is situated in Netaji Nagar on Delhi University’s South campus. DCAC is certified by NAAC with a grade of "B+," and according to India Today 2022, it is placed 34th in the Arts Department. In a similar vein, Outlook 2022 has Delhi College of Arts and Commerce listed as 22nd in the area of Commerce.

The university grants financial support to needy and financially weak students. Applications for financial support are approved by the university and must be submitted on time. This scholarship service is aimed at academically good students. Some of the services are provided below:

  • Post Matric Scholarship – This scholarship is for reserve category students and is awarded by the Directorate of Education, Delhi Administration, Delhi. Students residing in other states must apply for their application immediately upon admission.
  • Scholarship for the Honors Course – The University of Delhi runs a competitive exam every year, the All India Entrance Scholarship. The reward value of this grant is INR 250 per month for the three years of the honorary course. To qualify for this exam, students must take CBSE, New Delhi Upper Secondary, or an equivalent exam with a 55% total score. The last date to submit the form is September 1st of each year. The form is accepted with the required exam fee.

  • Prakriti- The Environment Society : The Environment Society of DCAC came into existence in the year 2009 and since its inception, the society has been consistently inculcating social and moral values among its students. It focuses on environment-related affairs. The society has a dedicated team of volunteers constantly working towards initiating new campaigns and strengthening existing projects.
  • Women’s Cell : The Women’s cell of the college is quite active, and it basically works for the prosperity and protection of women students and staff. The cell conducts various activities and events to spread awareness regarding some social affairs such as Domestic Violence, Sexual harassment at the workplace, statutory provisions related to harassment, female foeticide, etc.
  • National Cadet Corps : A National Cadet Corps unit offers various opportunities to its cadets. There are various activities conducted by the unit that encourages cadets to get themselves trained and motivated. These various activities may include Thal Sainik Camp, All India Trekking Camp, Rock Climbing Camp, Para Sailing, Blood Donation Camp, etc.
  • Enactus Society : Enactus Society of the college was built to bring together students, academics, and business leaders. It is an international non-profit organization. Here, the students are exposed to using the power of entrepreneurial actions, which eventually improve their quality of life.
