The counselling process for TANCET 2024 will be conducted by DTE, Chennai, and will begin on the official counselling portal, tn-mbamca.com. DTE conducts the counselling online, which includes registration, certificate verification, rank list preparation, option entry, and seat allocation. The counselling process is centralized for TN MBA/MCA admissions, while other courses under CEETA PG have separate counselling conducted by TANCA/CEETA PG. TANCET counselling is essential for admissions to government, government-aided, self-financing, and stand-alone institutions in Tamil Nadu. Only candidates who have qualified in the TANCET 2024 exam are eligible to participate in the TN MBA counselling process.
Candidates who complete the counselling registration and have their certificates verified will have their names included in the TANCET rank list. Following the publication of the rank list, DTE will start the general counselling process. To participate in the TANCET counselling process, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Nativity: Only candidates from Tamil Nadu are eligible for TANCET counselling. They must submit a Tamil Nadu Nativity Certificate during counselling registration.
Qualifying Examination: Candidates should have completed a bachelor's degree program of at least three years duration with an aggregate of 50 percent for unreserved categories and 45 percent for reserved categories.
Entrance Exam: Candidates must have taken the TANCET (MBA) 2024 exam conducted by Anna University.
Age Limit: There is no specified upper or lower age limit set by DTE.
