St. Joseph's College of Engineering came into existence in the academic year of 1994 under the aegis of St. Joseph's Educational Trust. The college is in Chennai, Tami Nadu and serves to be a higher education institution. The college has been affiliated to Anna University since its inception. The college has been accredited with National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). The college has also been recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

  • The college has been termed as the highest among 234 Engineering Colleges in Tamil Nadu and besides, it has bagged gold and silver medals in the university examinations.

The college is considerably good in terms of its infrastructure. There are developed classrooms, equipped laboratories, central library, etc. Some of the important aspects of St. Joseph's College of Engineering are mentioned below:

  • The central library of the college has been extended over 25,000 sq. ft. The Reference and Textbooks are informative and of the latest editions. The collection of the library includes books, Encyclopedias, Journals (National Journal and E-journal), Computer Compact Disc, Video Compact Disc, and Audio Tapes.
  • The sports facilities provided by the college include Athletics, Badminton, Tennis, and Chess.
  • Jet Sigma is the technical event organized by the college every year. The students are motivated to participate and perform better in their respective fields. Minimum Educational Qualification

Admission to B. E. and B. Tech at St. Joseph's College of Engineering
