Step-by-Step: How to Apply for Revaluation or Rechecking
Step 1: Apply for the Answer Sheet Photocopy
- Visit: https://cbseresults.nic.in
- Log in using your Roll Number and School Code
- Select the subject(s)
- Pay the fee online
- You will receive the scanned copy within a few days.
Step 2: Apply for Rechecking
- Once the photocopy is received, verify marking and calculation errors
- Apply for rechecking if you find any discrepancies
- You need to pay Rs 500 per subject
Step 3: Apply for Revaluation
- If you believe the marking was incorrect, you can apply for the Revaluation of specific questions
- You need to pay Rs 100 per question
- The decision will be final and binding
Can Marks Increase or Decrease?
Yes. After revaluation, marks can increase, decrease, or remain unchanged. In the case of a decrease, the revised score will be treated as final. Revaluation is a serious process and should only be opted for if you’re confident about your answer.
