Step-by-Step: How to Apply for Revaluation or Rechecking

Step 1: Apply for the Answer Sheet Photocopy

Visit: https://cbseresults.nic.in
Log in using your Roll Number and School Code
Select the subject(s)
Pay the fee online
You will receive the scanned copy within a few days.

Step 2: Apply for Rechecking

Once the photocopy is received, verify marking and calculation errors
Apply for rechecking if you find any discrepancies
You need to pay Rs 500 per subject

Step 3: Apply for Revaluation

If you believe the marking was incorrect, you can apply for the Revaluation of specific questions
You need to pay Rs 100 per question
The decision will be final and binding

Can Marks Increase or Decrease?

Yes. After revaluation, marks can increase, decrease, or remain unchanged. In the case of a decrease, the revised score will be treated as final. Revaluation is a serious process and should only be opted for if you’re confident about your answer.
