ITI UP 2023

The UP ITI 2023 Allotment Result for Round 4th has been announced. It is a state-level admission procedure for applicants wishing to enroll in different technical and non-technical ITI courses. Every year, the State Council of Vocational Training, Lucknow, organizes an online admission procedure. Admission will be granted to candidates based on a state-level merit list. Shortlisted students are admitted to several governments and private industrial training institutes (ITIs) around the state.

This examination is held at the state level by Uttar Pradesh, under which students may get admission to more than 80 ITI training facilities, for which students apply and are tested, following which the scriptures are taught. In August 2023, the second phase list will be issued. More than 600,000 seats are available for students who have applied for admission in the area of ITI.

Eligibility Criteria for UP ITI 2023

The entire UP ITI eligibility requirements for 2023 are as follows-

  1. Nationality: Candidates must be Indian nationals to be considered for admission.
  2. Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 14 years old by August 1, 2023.
  3. Domicile: Candidates must be Uttar Pradesh state domicile certificate holders.
  4. Qualifications: Applicants must have completed the 10th or equivalent test from a recognized board.
  5. Candidates who will be taking their qualifying exams in 2023 can also apply for the examination.

ITI UP 2023 Application Form

The following is the entire information, along with some important instructions, for the UP ITI Application Form 2023- 

  1. The Application Form will be available online exclusively from July 7, 2023.
  2. Only applicants who are eligible for the examination are permitted to submit an application form, thus candidates must validate their eligibility before submitting.
  3. Candidates must carefully complete the application form because the authorities will most likely not give any corrections later.
  4. Candidates must fill out the application form with the identical information as appears on their 10th mark sheet; any changes to the information may result in the application being rejected.
  5. Candidates must submit their application forms before the deadline, as no applications will be accepted beyond that date.
  6. The application form must be submitted by August 4th, 2023.
  7. Candidates should maintain a printout of their completed application form and fee receipt for future reference.

UP ITI Admission Process 2023

  1. Candidates will be admitted to various technical and non-technical ITI trades based on the final merit list. 
  2. When allocating seats, the authority will prioritize the highest rank holder on the merit list.
  3. After seats are assigned, applicants must report to their designated center to confirm their admittance. 
  4. Candidates must also complete all remaining requirements, including first-semester tuition payment, before the deadline, otherwise, their places will be assigned to other candidates.
  5.  The Uttar Pradesh ITI admission procedure 2023 is carried out in several phases, including registration, choice filling, counseling, and seat assignment. 
  6. Candidates must initially register in order to participate in the counseling process.
  7. Following the final submission of application forms, the authority publishes the merit list for registered applicants online. 
  8. Candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be shortlisted for the subsequent admission procedure and seat allocation.

The Application Fee is only available for submission online. Candidates can pay their application fees via credit card, debit card, or net banking payment methods.

ITI UP Merit List 2023-24

The UP ITI Merit list will be provided by the authorities when the registration procedure is completed. The authority will publish the merit list for each candidate who has successfully registered for admission. Candidates will be able to view the whole merit list beginning in August 2024. The merit list will be made accessible to registered applicants on the authority's website via the online method. The authority will compile a merit list based on the results of the appropriate qualifying examinations. 

The Government of Uttar Pradesh organized ITI counseling for students in July 2023, after which the application process and registration were completed, and the first allotment list of students was released on 18 August 2023, under which lakhs of students were given various types of government and private ITI center are waiting for their second allotment list, which is expected to release by the last week of August on the official website, which students will be able to access online.

  • How to download the Merit List of UP ITI 2023?

The list has been assigned, one must obtain it from the official website using the following procedure-

  1. First, go to the conducting board's official website, i.e. on the front page of the official website, click on the option of UP ITI Second Merit List 2023.
  2. You will now be asked for certain information, such as your name, application number, date of birth, and so on.
  3. After filling out the form, click the submit button.
  4. After you submit, your second merit list will appear on the screen, where you may check your name.
  • What after Merit-List of ITI UP 2023?

Candidate merit list will be released by the official website through the internet, which is the second allotment, i.e. the second merit list, on the basis of which students are offered admission in government and private universities, and under which the students names are presented. Admission will be provided in ITI colleges and institutes chosen by them, which will be provided in accordance with their chosen ITI trends, and students will be required to submit all of their documents to the institution on the basis of which their admission will be confirmed and they will be provided admission in the institute.

UP ITI Cut-Off Marks 2023

Lists are allotted for students through the online medium in Uttar Pradesh ITI counseling, in which the list of students is allotted on the basis of cut-off marks, after the release of the first list, one will be issued the second list of all the students which is issued on the basis of category, in which seats are fixed for the students according to their classes, thereby being provided to them through online mode. 

  1. General/Unreserved- 85%
  2. SC- 60%
  3. ST- 55%
  4. Other Backward Classes- 79%
  5. Freedom Fighters- 75%
  6. Only Girl Candidates- 70%

UP ITI Counseling 2023

The authorities will perform the counseling procedure a few days after the merit list is announced. The authority will conduct the counseling procedure based on the merit list. Candidates will be able to engage in the counseling process online beginning in August/September 2023. The authority will conduct the UP ITI Counselling procedure in several rounds based on the availability of seats after each round of counseling. Following each round of counseling, seats will be assigned to candidates based on availability. Candidates must also submit the necessary documentation for verification of the information provided on the application form. 

The following is the entire list of papers necessary for the verification rounds:

  1. 8th and 10th-grade report cards
  2. Certificates from the eighth and tenth grades
  3. Certificate of Caste
  4. PWD identification card (if applicable)
  5. Certificate of transfer
  6. Certificate of domicile
  7. Proof of birthdate
  8. Certificate of Migration
  9. Residence certificate
  10. Photographs at passport size, for example.
