Madras University Cutoff 2023
Madras University accepts students for M.A., M.Com, M.Sc, MBA, MCA, M.Phil, PG Diploma, Diploma, and Certificate programs. The university conducts entrance exams for PG programs as well as PG Diploma, Diploma, and Certificate programs. Madras University considers a valid TANCET score for MBA, MCA, and M.Tech courses.
Candidates must achieve a minimum percentile that is above or matches the university’s threshold. When the TANCET cutoff is announced, students must obtain the scorecard from the TANCET official website, check if they meet the Madras University cutoff, and then proceed with the TANCET counseling process.

Madras University Cutoff: TANCET Cutoff 2023
Madras University provides a variety of courses at the postgraduate, doctoral, and diploma levels. In addition to standard studies, the university offers MBA, MCA, and M.Tech programs in a variety of specializations. The MBA and M.Tech programs last two years, while the MCA program lasts three years. The Anna University conducting body creates the TANCET cutoff list.
Applicants who meet the qualifying requirements for courses such as MBA, MCA, and M.Tech will be admitted to Madras University. The general category TANCET 2023 qualifying cutoff for the MBA program is 37.5, while the reserved category cutoff ranges from 22.5 to 35.25. Candidates seeking admission to the MBA program at Madras University must meet the requisite cutoff.
Madras University Cutoff: TANCET MBA Cutoff 2023
The cutoff for the TANCET MBA program is determined by taking into account the numerous categories, as well as the minimum scores required for students in each category. Candidates are shortlisted for the admission procedure based on their TANCET qualifying marks. TANCET 2023 has the following cutoffs:

Madras University MBA Selection Process:
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with a minimum of 55 percent in aggregate from a recognized university. TANCET MBA Syllabus will be divided into four divisions.
TANCET MBA course syllabus comprises:
- Business Analysis
- Reading Comprehension and Verbal Ability
- Quantitative Aptitude
- Data Sufficiency
Students will receive one mark for each correct answer and one-third of a mark for each incorrect response. The total number of questions will be 100, with 20 questions in each segment.

Madras University MCA Selection Process:
Students who want to study MCA at Madras University must have a B.Sc in Computer Science or Mathematics as an obligatory topic or a BCA program. Students must have a valid TANCET MCA score to be considered for the selection process.
TANCET MCA syllabus comprises of four components:
- Quantitative aptitude
- Logical reasoning
- Analytical reasoning
- Computer Awareness

Madras University Cutoff: TANCET M.Tech Cutoff 2023
Madras University accepts the TANCET test for M.Tech admission. The scores earned in the examination can be used to calculate the candidate’s TANCET rank. The ranks of the candidates are shown in the list below.

Madras University M.Tech Selection Process
Applicants should have completed MA/M.Sc with Geography/Geology/ Physics/ Environmental Studies/Computer science or must have done a B.E. degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
The syllabus of TANCET MCA contains 3 sections namely part 1, part 2, and part 3 which have topics:
- Calculus and Differential Equations
- Transforms, Functions of Complex Variables & Complex Integration
- Applied Probability, and several others
Students can obtain the TANCET rank list 2023 to check their names (if available) and fill out course and college preferences.
