Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) is a private university. It is situated in Gujarat, India. It was established in 2007. It is named after Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, a renowned philosopher and political leader. PDEU is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). NAAC accredited PDEU with an ‘A+’ grade & CGPA of 3.39 out of 4.0. In 2021, it obtained the 89th NIRF 2022 rank in the management group.
PDEU offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in various fields such as engineering and management, For admission to these courses, candidates can apply through the official website. PDEU has collaborations with several national and international organizations, which provides students with opportunities for internships and research projects. The university has modern infrastructure and facilities like labs, libraries, sports facilities, and hostels. Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) has four schools:

Pandit Deendayal Energy University Admission to UG Courses
Admission to the BTech program at PDEU is granted based on a valid score obtained in the JEE Main examination.
Admission to the BA, BBA and BCOM program at PDEU is based on valid score obtained in the SAT examination and personal interview.
Admissions to the BSc at PDEU is based on Written Exam and Personal Interview.
Pandit Deendayal Energy University Admission to PG Courses
Admission to the MSc and MA programs, PDEU conducts its own entrance test known as GUJCET.
MBA applicants are required to have a valid score in CAT/XAT/NMAT. The selection process includes evaluating candidates’ performance in the exam, GD and PI, Written Ability Test (WAT), academic record, and work experience.
The MTech program considers scores in the GATE examination for admission.
Pandit Deendayal Energy University Admission to Ph.D. Courses
In the case of the PhD course, admission is based on the scores obtained in the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) conducted by the University.

| B.Tech | Candidate must have a minimum aggregate of 45% in Class 12. Admission to the First Year of the Bachelor of Technology shall be given as under, namely: i. Government Seats (33%): For admission to Gujarat seats, candidates must apply to ACPC following their prescribed guidelines. ii. All India Seats (52%): Candidates are required to apply online through the University website within the specified timeframe. The University will fill these 52% seats with candidates who have successfully completed their Qualifying Examination from schools in India, including Gujarat State, and have appeared in the JEE (Main) 2023 exam. The merit list for these seats will be based on the rank/marks obtained in the JEE (Main) 2023 exam. iii.
