ICT Mumbai B.Tech Admission 2023
The institute offers B. Tech, B. Pharm, and Integrated M. Tech programs at the undergraduate level. These courses are offered under several specializations thus, offering students a pool of options to choose from. Admission to these programs primarily requires qualifying of the entrance examination conducted at the national or state level.
- Candidates seeking admission to B. Tech are required to appear in and qualify MHT CET or JEE Main examination.
- MHT CET stands for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test conducted to ensure admission to B. Tech.
- For admission to B. Pharm, the candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in MHT CET.
- Admission to Integrated M. Tech (Chemical Engineering) is done based on candidates’ performance in MHT CET or JEE Main examination.
- For admission to the undergraduate programs offered by the university, almost 70% of the seats are reserved for candidates belonging to Maharashtra state.
Eligibility Criteria -
- 10+2 is the required minimum to apply for B.Tech. courses in ICT.
- The applicants must have taken Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their 10+2 education.
- Candidates are eligible for B. Tech. and B. E. admissions based on their MHCET/JEE Main results.
- Candidates are only qualified for B. Pharm admissions based on their MH CET results.
Selection Criteria -
- The MH CET/JEE Mains results are used to select candidates on a merit basis. The merit list is then created.
- Those with strong academic credentials and high JEE Main scores must go through counselling.

Entrance Exams that ICT Mumbai Will Accept in 2023:
The primary requirement for ICT Mumbai course admissions to all UG and PG programmes in 2022 is merit, and it gives admission on the same basis. However, for the majority of courses, the Institute also takes into account a candidate’s performance on their most recent qualification along with their scores on other national or state-level entrance tests (JEE Main, GATE, GPAT, etc.). ICT Mumbai M.Tech Admission 2023:
ICT Mumbai Course Admissions include M. Tech, M. Pharm, and M. Sc programs at the postgraduate level. There are several specializations to each program. The candidates seeking admission to any of the postgraduate programs must possess a bachelor’s degree in the relevant field from a recognized university.
- For admission to M. Tech, M. Chem. Engg., and Executive M. Tech, the candidates must appear in and qualify Written Test conducted by the institute with a valid score.
- Candidates with a valid score in GATE are also eligible to apply for the above-mentioned postgraduate programs.
- Admission to M. Sc is done based on the merit in the last qualifying examination.
- Candidates seeking admission to M. Pharm are shortlisted based on their performance in GPAT.
ICT Mumbai Ph.D. Admission 2023:
- Ph. D. program is offered in the field of Science and Technology. There are various specializations under which the program is offered.
- Candidates seeking admission to Ph. D. are shortlisted based on their performance in the Written Test conducted by the institute.
- Shortlisted candidates are then required to sit through a Personal Interview round conducted at the institute.
- Final selection is done based on candidates’ performance in the written test and interview round.
ICT Mumbai PhD Admission Criteria:
ICT Mumbai provides PhD programmes in 27 different specialties. The course might last a minimum of three years or a maximum of five years. Since there are four different branches of pharmacy that offer a PhD, the university holds separate written exams for each.
Criteria for Selection & Eligibility:
- The equivalent of a bachelor’s degree (12+4) in engineering, technology, or pharmacy
- Master’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant field with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 60% (55% for reserved categories).
- Valid NET, GATE, GPAT, CSIR, DBT, or JRF score

Minimum Educational Qualification
Candidates seeking admission must ensure that they fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria defined by the institute. The candidates are primarily shortlisted based on their academic performance and as per the requirements set by ICT Mumbai.
For Undergraduate Programs
- For admission to B. Tech, the candidates must have passed senior secondary school with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects securing at least 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized board.
- Admission to B. Pharm requires a pass in Senior Secondary School in Science stream.
- Candidates seeking admission to Integrated M. Tech (Chemical Engineering) must have passed senior secondary school with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects.
For Postgraduate Programs
- Candidates seeking admission to M. Tech and M. Chem. Engg & M. Tech must possess a bachelor’s degree in B. E./ B. Tech in the relevant field securing at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized university.
- For admission to Executive M. Tech, the candidates must possess B. E./B. Tech degree and a minimum of eight years’ work experience.
- For admission to M. Sc, the candidates must possess a B. Sc degree in the relevant filed securing 55% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates seeking admission to M. Pharm must possess a B. Sc degree with at least 60% marks in aggregate.
For Ph. D. Program
- Candidates seeking admission to the Ph. D. program in Technology must possess a master’s degree in Engineering/Technology with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
- For those seeking admission to the Ph. D. program in Science, it is must to possess a bachelor’s degree in M. Sc in the relevant field securing at least 55% marks in aggregate.
