Bahra University's Training and Placement Cell was established to help students in deciding their career path. The cell assists the students in figuring out their talent and interests and accordingly opt for their careers. It also provides training to them in their field of choice and thus aiding them to ace careers efficiently in their respective fields.
The Bahra University's Placement cell has three major goals namely training, providing placements and helping them connect with the Alumni.
These three goals are interconnected in a way that the placement cell functions efficiently, equipping students with the top forums to upstart their chosen careers.
About a hundred companies come over to the campus for Bahra University placement drives. These hiring companies can be categorized as: Core Engineering Industries, Public Sector Undertakings (PSU), IT and IT-enabled services, and banking and consultancy companies. It is totally up to the students if they choose to take up or refuse the offers presented to them by these hiring companies. Amazon, Videocon, Vodafone, Reliance, Aditya Birla Group, Berger Paints, IDBI Bank, Google, RBS Group, Samsung, Coca Cola, Amway, HCL, Nokia, Sony, TVs, Deloitte and Voltas are some of the top recruiting companies of Bahra University.
With the help of a placement team, faculty members as well as alumni from different fields, the Placement Cell offers training to the students. The motive is to provide maximum career prospects to the students graduating from Bahra University.
At Bahra University, the placement cell offers the students such platforms where they can get guidance, counselling, and training in order to ace the interviews and achieve to the best of their potential. Other than training, the placement cell is also responsible for keeping records of every student getting training under its guidance and the companies visiting the campus. Bahra University: Process for Placement
The placement cell has a fixed procedure that the student should adhere to once he/she has registered with the placement cell. The cell provides training in the fields of Business English Communication, Java, Oracle, Python, Data Science, AI, GRE, TOEFL etc. Interview training along with guidance for honing personality development is also offered. The students are also offered industry related skills and Summer internships and visits to assist them improve themselves for the professional domain.
It is up to the placement cell to interact with the hiring companies and fix interview dates and organize interviews, to avoid overlapping. The next step for the placement cell is to update the students about the job offers. The students can agree to offers only via placement cell. After the recruitment procedure is done with, the placement cell makes sure that the students accepting the offered jobs by the companies join the concerned companies on the scheduled date. This is how the placement cell at Bahra University functions and performs the placement tasks.
Bahra University: Summer Internship Placements
Taking help of the concerned faculty members, the Placement cell also takes care of the summer internship placements for the students. The summer internships expose the students to practical working situations and a chance to take a closer look and know their respective industries. Bonus industrial visits are also arranged.
