Ambedkar University Admission 2025
Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) takes students for UG, PG, MBA, and PhD programs across its different campuses. The admission process is not the same for every course, but the steps usually include filling out the form, an entrance exam (if needed), merit list, counseling, and paying the fees.
UG Admissions
For UG courses, admission is done through CUET-UG. Popular programs here are BA (Hons) in Social Sciences, Humanities, Psychology, and Global Studies. In UG admission 2024, the university released a few cut-off lists based on CUET scores, and they were given on the basis of merit. Back in Ambedkar College online admission 2021 too, there were around 390+ seats across streams.
PG Admissions
For PG, students have to go through CUET-PG. Programs like MA Development Studies, Sociology, Political Science, Economics are offered, and the selection depends on both entrance scores and past academic marks. In PG admission 2023, more than 720 applications came in. Courses like MA Psychology and MA Gender Studies got the most attention.
The MBA program has its own admission cycle. Students sit for a separate test, then go for group discussions and personal interviews. Since it’s a professional course, the admission and fee structure are different, with a strong focus on management and policy-making skills.
PhD Admissions
For PhD, the admission is said to be done in two steps, first a written test by the university and then an interview. To be eligible, you need a postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks as per UGC rules. In 2023, around 210 students had applied for the PhD programs. Selection also depends on the availability of faculty supervisors.
Admissions vary every year depending on seats. For instance, in 2023 there were around 590 PG admissions, a little over 110 PhD admissions, and UG admissions went past 390 seats.
Fees
The fees depend on the course. For example, BBA costs around ₹48,000 per semester, while most MA programs cost ₹37,000–₹43,000 per year. Details are always updated on the official portal. Students from SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories can also apply for concessions.
Online Process
Admissions are now fully online. That means the students can apply, upload documents, and pay fees online. This started around Ambedkar College online admission 2021 and has made the process smoother.
