Aliah University is approved by UGC, AICTE and even NCTE, and it is one of the most reputed universities in Kolkata, West Bengal. Providing various courses in UG, PG and some doctorate ones too. Aliah University Kolkata has a diverse range in which they provide courses, which includes but is not limited to engineering, management science, commerce, science, humanities, arts, languages, and theology. Many specializing in engineering are included, different management courses like retail, marketing human resources are present too. Aliah University Admission 2023

Aliah University conducts their own entrance exam AUAT, which is used across the board for both UG and PG exams for admission. While for B.Tech WBJEE is accepted too. And for M.Tech admission is done via GATE. For B.Ed, B.Sc., B..A and other courses, including PG ones are based on AUAT

How to Apply in Aliah University

• Go to the Admission tab there you have to select the type of degree you want to pursue from Aliah University
• Download the notices and access the admission form
• Fill all the required information in the Admission form
• Provide a scanned copy of your photograph and signature
• Submit the application fee and submit the admission form

Aliah University Placement

Aliah University has a placement cell that is devoted to bringing quality placements for the university, and providing industry skills to the students. Many workshops and seminars are conducted throughout the year to prepare students for placements. They organize yearly placement drives and place a decent number of students in that. Placement Cell of Aliah University also works to provide soft skills and other career oriented skills to better prepare students for their future

The palcement data of 2023 is yet to be released by the Aliah University. But according to Aliah University Placement of 2022, the highest package offered during the placement drive was 34LPA. While the average package was around 4 LPA for UG courses and 4.8LPA for the PG courses. ITC, Wipro, HCL and TCS were some top recruiters from the placement drive of Aliah University.

• Central Library - Aliah University have a library at every Campus, the Salt Lake/Park Circus campus comprises of Engineering and Basic Sciences books. The New town campus have humanities and management books while the oldest library at Taltala Campus focuses on books related to Islamic Studies. While also offering an e-library, and the physical libraries offer book issues and reading room services too. The libraries at Aliah University contains material ranging from External Research to Restoration of texts (digitalization of the text) to Teaching material to Conversation of knowledge and ideas
• Institution of Innovation Council - in 2018, with the help of Ministry of Education, Aliah University set up an Innovation Council in collaboration with AICTE in order to promote innovation and entrepreneurship
• Hostel Accommodation - Aliah University offers hostel facilities to the students who needs them, the buildings are divided among girls and boys. The students studying in Aliah University can avail this facility
• Computer Centre - with over 110 Nos systems with internet facilities, Aliah University provides the students with a full fledged computer lab with parts of campus having Wi-fi facilities and over 1100+ IO ports over the campus
