The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) has officially announced the schedule and application process for the ISC Class 12 and ICSE Class 10 Improvement Examinations 2025. The application window is now open for all eligible candidates, with exams set to begin from July 1, 2025.

Who Can Apply?
All candidates who appeared in the ISC or ICSE 2025 main examinations are eligible to apply for improvement. However:
- Students marked ABSENT in any subject during the main exam are not eligible.
- Students can choose to appear for a maximum of two subjects they had registered for in the main board exams.
ICSE Improvement Exam 2025: Subject Selection Guidelines

ICSE Improvement Exam 2025: Registration Process
- Applications must be submitted only by the Heads of Schools via the CISCE CAREERS portal.
- Registration Window: May 30 to June 5, 2025.

ICSE Improvement Exam Details
- Start Date: July 1, 2025
- Exam Centre: Students will appear at the Convener’s School.
- Timetable and admit cards will be announced shortly on the official CISCE portal.
Result & Final Marks
- Results will be declared approximately one month after the exams.
- The higher marks between the Main Exam and Improvement Exam will be treated as the final score.
- If a student is absent from the improvement exam, the original marks from the main exam will be retained.
