The admissions process for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), located in New Delhi, has begun for the 2025–2026 academic year. Admissions will be based on the scores obtained in the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2024. The first round of online counseling's choice-filling procedure began on May 14 and will run through May 20, 2025.
Candidates who paid the ₹2,500 application fee are eligible to participate in the counseling stage. They are required to log in to the official websites, ipu.ac.in or ipu.admissions.nic.in, to select their preferred courses and colleges. The university has announced that the results for the first round of counseling will be declared on May 22, 2025.
Post seat allotment, candidates must pay a part academic fee of ₹96,000 by May 26, 2025, to confirm their admission. The estimates seat allotment letter will also be accessible on this day. Document verification for the uploaded documents can be completed until May 28, 2025. Additionally, candidates have the option to withdraw their allotted seats by May 28, 2025, if they choose to do so.
The MBA program at GGSIPU is two years long and offers a number of specialties, including MBA (General), MBA (Analytics), MBA (Financial Analysis), MBA (Financial Management), and MBA (International Business). The total fee for the program is approximately ₹2.52 lakh, payable over two years.
Eligibility for the MBA program requires a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50%. Candidates with professional certifications such as CA, CS, or ICWA are also eligible. Candidates for specialized programs such as MBA (Analytics) and MBA (Financial Analysis) must have completed school with a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Operations Research.
GGSIPU favors CAT scores for MBA admissions. If seats remain empty, the university may examine CMAT scores first, then its own Common Entrance Test (CET) scores. Candidates are advised to regularly check the official websites for updates and detailed information regarding the admission process.
