Ambedkar University Delhi Begins 2025 Admission: 2,614 Seats and New Courses Launched

Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) has started its process for admission for the session 2025-26. The university has invited applications for undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The students will have to appear for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for admission in most of the courses. CUET-UG scores will be considered for admission to undergraduate courses, and CUET-PG scores for admission to postgraduate courses.

However, there are certain particular courses, such as BBA in Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Venture Development (IEV), whose admissions will not be taken care of by CUET but by the Common Management Admission Committee (CMAC).

For the coming academic year, AUD Delhi has prepared a total of 48 programs. Among these, 20 are bachelor programs, and 28 are master programs. The seats of new students for a total of 2,614. Among these, 1,123 seats are for bachelor students and 1,491 seats are for master students. These also include supernumerary seats, which are special seats for special categories.

The university also provides another benefit to Delhi students. The admission policy provides 85% of the available seats to permanent Delhi National Capital Territory (NCT) candidates. This provides easy access to Delhi students for higher education.

For undergraduate courses, the candidates must have passed Class 12 from a well-known board of education. For postgraduate courses, the candidates must have passed their bachelor's degree in the concerned stream from a well-known university.

AUD is also striving to improve the quality of education in line with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Field-based learning concepts and research-based learning are being introduced by the university. What this means is that students will be given theoretical knowledge in the classroom but also real, actual exposure to grasp their subjects.
