The JEE Advanced Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) 2025 is a separate test for those interested in the Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) program at IIT Kharagpur, IIT Roorkee, and IIT (BHU) Varanasi. The JEE Advanced AAT is only available to those who qualified JEE Advanced 2025, and is an additional requirement to the admission process of candidates who want to pursue their studies in architecture at the respective IITs.
Registration to JEE AAT 2025 was from June 2 to June 3, 2025, and candidates registered for the test from the official JEE Advanced candidate portal. AAT 2025 was conducted on June 5, 2025, in an offline format. The test was 3 hours long. Unlike JEE Advanced, there is no separate admit card for AAT; the candidates can use their JEE Advanced admit card for the exam.
JEE Advanced AAT Results were released on June 8, 2025, and students who qualified for the exam were only eligible to participate in the B.Arch seat allocation in JoSAA counselling. The JEE Advanced AAT 2025 result was out on June 8, 2025 and students were provided with an online facility to download the same using their registration credentials. JEE Advanced AAT Application Form
Usually the JEE Advanced AAT application forms are out after the JEE Advanced result is announced and only qualified applicants will be able to fill out the application form. The AAT application form is released on the official website of the JEE Advanced and candidates can fill the form online with the help of their academic and personal details.
The registration for AAT usually takes place in the month of June and candidates must note that the registration window for the same is very short as for last session, students were able to fill out the application form from June 2, 2025 (10:00 IST) to June 3, 2025 (17:00 IST). JEE Advanced AAT Registration Steps
Step 1: Visit the Official Website of the JEE Advanced (there is no other website for AAT registration).
Step 2: Now students will be required to register with their valid credentials of JEE Advanced.
Step 3: Find the AAT Registration Link, and fill out the application form.
Step 4: Now choose your exam centre carefully.
Step 5: After verifying all the details, click on “yes” to finalize the application form.
Step 6: Now submit the application form.

JEE Advanced AAT | Counselling Process
Students who qualify the JEE Advanced Architecture Aptitude Test will be now required to register for the JoSAA counselling. Attending the counselling session is mandatory for admissions to IIT Roorkee, IIT Kharagpur, and IIT (BHU) Varanasi. 1. JoSAA Registration
Each qualified candidate must register for JoSAA to participate in further admission process through Architecture Aptitude Test. To register for the same, visit the official website of the JoSAA 2025.
2. Choice Filling
They have to select the choices of IITs and of B.Arch courses according to their choices. Other than that, they can also include some other IIT courses if they have further preferences. The sequence of their choices matters here for making the choices.
3. Seat Allocation
The seats will be allocated according to student’s preferences filled in the application form. Other factors affecting the seat allotment process are availability of seats and marks obtained by students.
4. Accepting Seats
Students now will be required to confirm the seat by their end. It will be totally up to candidates if they wanna accept the allotted seat or not.
5. Checking Documents
The students have to report either to the assigned IIT or a reporting center to verify their documents.They have to produce original certificates and documents for the purpose of verification.
6. Final Admission
Once the verification of the papers is completed, the candidates will complete the official admission procedure at the allotted IIT and will formally be enrolled members of the five-year B.Arch program.

JEE Advanced AAT Admit Card 2025
There are no separate admit cards for the JEE Advanced AAT. Candidates who take the AAT 2025 will use their JEE Advanced admit card to enter the examination hall. Most importantly, on the exam day, candidates should carry an admit card and a valid photo identity card. The admit card is very important as it contains important specific details like the candidate’s name, roll number, exam centre, instructions, etc., which the candidates should follow meticulously.
