What is the difference between COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE pattern?

There is no difference between the COMEDK and Uni-GAUGE exam pattern. Uni-GAUGE and COMEDK are the same exam. Candidates who apply for both of these exams have to appear for one single test. The exam is a Computer-Based Test mode for a duration of 180 minutes (3 hours) minutes. There are 180 objective-type questions with four choices each and the language of the exam will be English only. The Uni-GAUGE exam is conducted to assess a candidate’s skills in problem-solving, analytics, and language proficiency. Questions are asked from Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.

Can I change my answer once marked in COMEDK exam?

Yes, candidates are allowed to change their responses anytime during the COMEDK UGET 2025 exam. Applicants are advised to go through COMEDK exam answer color scheme carefully at the time of reading instructions. Candidates can mark and review their questions in case of doubt. Also, questions marked with green will reflect the answered questions. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the timer throughout the exam. COMEDK UGET Exam Pattern 2025: The COMEDK Exam Pattern is released by the Consortium of Medical, Engineering, and Dental Colleges, Karnataka on their official website. The candidates applying for the exam must be aware of the COMEDK paper pattern which includes details like the total number of questions asked in the exam, marking scheme of the exam, and the section-wise distribution of questions. Once the candidates have understood the COMEDK exam pattern it becomes easier to devise the preparation strategy and the students can prepare effectively for the exam.

The COMEDK paper pattern is slightly different for the Engineering and Medical/Dental courses. For Engineering courses only three subjects are included - Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, while for the Medical courses in addition to Physics and Chemistry, the dental exam has Biology and English. The Engineering paper is for 180 minutes, and the Medical exam is conducted for a duration of 3.5 hours or 210 minutes as an online exam.
