The age of a candidate must be between

  • 20-27 years for Assistant Grade and SI's in CBI
  • 18-27 years for inspectors of CE/IT & Div. Accts/ Auditors/UDC etc
  • 20-25 years for SIs in CPOs on the first day of August of the year examination
  • The upper age limit would be relaxed in case of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe,OBC and other reserved categories.

Qualification

  • Desirable qualification for a) Compiler: Bachelor's degree from any recognized university with Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or Elective subject. b) Statistical Investigator Grade-2: Bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognized University or institute with at least 60% in Maths at 12th grade level.

                                                                       OR

  • Bachelor's degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at the degree level.
  • Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
